There are still miners from the October batch on eastshore. They seem legitimate enough, and you can purchase from the October batch for close to retail.
The only thing more insane than prepaying a manufacturer is prepaying a reseller that's prepaid the manufacturer. Roll Eyes It's no fun (and an even greater financial loss to you) when your order gets backordered because his order got backordered.  Undecided

I've never ordered from them but I've heard only good things. I'm assuming they only sell what they have pre-ordered, as earlier batches of the S9 are sold out on their site, yet there are still S9's available from the later October batch for sale on their website. What do you think, do you have any experience with them?

I have ordered Nov 1st Week D3 from them. its my first order outside Bitmain. Lets hope for the best.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Nice, I'm sure it will work out fine for you! If I have the funds, I'll be building out a small mine soon with a mix of S9's and L3+'s from them as their October batch 1 is still available for close to retail price, not marked up 500% like on eBay, lol.

Nothing changes...Bitmain still produces miners and mines the living shit out of them for months and has morons prepaying outrageous sums for them that will never ever ROI.
Good job guys.

Good job guys.

Plug the numbers into a calculator, lots of people make lots of money mining. Unless of course you're talking about the people that pay $10,000 per miner on eBay, but who in their right mind does that? Sure Bitmain may mine with them beforehand, but who cares so long as we make money as well.

By traditional investment standards, mining is extremely profitable for us, and unfathomably profitable for a company like Bitmain.

Only if your close to retail is 50%+ more

I'm not saying they can't make a profit on their sales, or that if you want to buy one at that price its your prerogative, but I think your close to retail. isn't really that close.  Cheesy

Relative to what they're selling for at other places, I think it's very close to retail. The reason they're selling so close to retail is because it will still be ~60 days until they ship out, whereas on other sites like eBay you could get it much quicker. Of course that would kill your ROI, which is why it's much better to purchase it and wait longer, so you can still make plenty of profits.

I'd be interested to know the same thing. I'm a bit hesitant ordering longer term, let alone through a reseller. Did find a handful positive responses with this company name mentioned on the forum, and even from older useraccounts Smiley

There have been a handful of reputable people now who have said they're legitimate. I'll be ordering from them soon, I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes.

I'm getting very frustrated with the poor S9 quality. Out of the (6) S9 that I received, one whole unit is DOA and another has 1 dead hash board after running for a couple weeks. I also received a DOA PSU. The DOA units have been sitting at BITMAIN California for two weeks with no response, now i gotta send off the other. Be careful folks before you spend money. Evaluate all of your options.

Which batch were they from? I remember reading a month or two ago that a bunch of people were having problems from the batch that was just shipped. If you can get a refund I'd pick up some L3+'s from them, get away from the S9 line all together as they've been having problems.

Not sure if the L3+ is much more reliable unfortunately: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1667131.msg20258219#msg20258219

That's unfortunate, but from the sounds of it he had a problem with the breakout board's for the psu's which are known to not be as safe.

just received within the past couple weeks. Absolute garbage. bought allot from them. 30% failure rate is unacceptable. Best response they can give me is send them in for warranty repair.

I've always used Bitmain psu with an environment with proper temperature.

Yeah, that's really unfortunate. Did you pre-order them months in advance before everyone was talking about all the problems they were having?

I think they were ordered late may early June. Up until recently I haven't had a horrible experience. The stuff they're putting out now is just not good quality at all. Like they're not even trying to give hAlf a cap that people pay money for this stuff.

They never really did, likely they are cutting more corners and putting higher production on their L3+ and D3 miners as there's more demand for them. Big reason why I don't like buying anything from them these days.

Well we have one other choice, yes. It's looking more and more attractive every time Bitmain ships me crap equipment. I'm hoping they turn this around quickly.

anyone send wires for the miners to bitmain?

on the order page, it says: Choose "PAY ALL FEES" when you wire payment

i dont see that on my wire processing page in my online banking. where is this option or do i have to go into the bank and manually do the wire there to have fees paid on my end?
