Just got my S9 13.5 Sept batch in.  Grin   Waiting for the power supply and my electrician to run a dedicated circuit. I am reading 20amp is what I want?  Anyone had luck running these in a dedicated enclosed server rack with fans?

Thanks!

Well, lost X3 hash cards this weekend over various miners.
Since buying batch 2, Ive had one hash card fail since all 10 miners arrived.

Temps are dropping in the UK, day and night temps are making the mine much cooler.

Im guessing some joints have broken down on the hash cards as they are now running way cooler.
All three cards have broken chains. No burning, no missing heat sink so should be good to repair.

Oh well, all packed up for a trip over to Denver.
Suppose given some of the horror stories on here Ive done well hash card wise since they arrived.

Find my P2POOL node at www.ukp2pool.uk:9332

Donations for operating node?

The S9s are much more stable today than when they first came out.  I think that the reliability is also holding stronger as well.

I beg to differ. In my experience its pretty much the same or worse than I expected. Most of my batch 4 S9's are chugging away perfectly, while 30% of the recently received 13.5 th/s units were either DOA or had bad chains within 2 weeks of receipt. The experience is similar with most of my friends who also mine....

Well, that batch didn't last very long. Was thinking of picking one up to heat the garage for the winter...

Its last for several hours now since the open sales.
Seem people get more caution with the sales of antminer lately, caution about how long to get ROI

https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020170926114319067noQch0M206A3

This batch is 13,5TH and ship earlier on 21-30 Nov
https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201709281019141777wvS8I1g068C

I am very interest to buy but with my current customs policy, better buy in the local market although its higher price but its certain than my shipment stuck in customs' gate

Where are you from ?

It's easy to avoid custom in EU.

Never had issues with customs in the USA, they just charge you an extra like $100 per unit billed to you by fedex or DHL
