I haven't received any notification for S9, but Bitmain just tweeted that they are releasing L3+ if anyone is interested. Here is the tweet: Releasing new batch of Antminer L3+ at 11AM tomorrow (16 Jan, GMT+8) https://goo.gl/qF41mp

10pm tonight and 4am tomorrow EST I think - unless you have to adjust for daylight savings to be honest...... with all these S9 releasing, and difficulty rising.... I think S11 are already up and running in Bitmain's farms.... that's why we are seeing so many S9 coming out

Not sure if I'm paranoid or over-thinking.. But every time Bitmain release a new batch, the BTC & BCH prices will spike. Is my observation spot on? If so, then Bitmain really practice price manipulation cum insider trading. What the...

All of these miners there will be switched off, and while they are moved, the rest will mine in immense profitability. So why do we (outside China) miss the chance. It is a risk, so mining turns out to be risky too. Also Bitmain officially declared partnership with Switzerland, so these guys are definitely up to something outside China.

I like your reasoning. I see same news stories about mining moving to Canada. Seems like Chinese miners have read the writing on the wall. They are diversifying globally. Buying a miner for me is like buying an option. If you can control costs then you limit your downside risk and you might catch some upside.

Receiving "Socket connect failed: Connection refused" for 3 miners.
All this message means is bmminer is not running. It its not an error or a problem. This is the expected functionality if your machine is not hashing.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Damn that's tempting, but no txns after saying many were sold is a serious red flag... DO NOT TRUST THIS!!!!! Established sellers (I am one) know eBay's rules. Forcing a BTC transaction can result in an immediate suspension/ban. I'm willing to bet this account is hacked - the hacker is trying to get as much BTC as fast as possible before the seller notices. With this many listings it could take the seller(probably an entire team of people, not just one individual seller monitoring their personal account)a day or two or three to realize what is happening! edit: especially on a holiday weekend where most big shops are closed the extra day. MLK!

Yup, was considering that, too. Tempting, but not falling for it, seen too much and I'm too old to fall for that!

I can buy it at any price, the question is what is my limit I want to pay to wait until March when there may be a new model coming and the current mining climate and difficulty. If the price is low end easy buy if its marked up to 5-6k or something insane its a risky buy. Price has alot to do with it.

MLK! Thats what i thought but it is so weird that ebay havent noticed or them. It has been like 10 hours of them being hacked. I thought hey maybe it is because they are gonna buy today at a cheaper price
