Would you recommend a 1300w or 1600w psu for a 6x rx 480 rig?

Better 1600 but 1300 will Keep up.

I'll save about $150 if I go with 1300. I'm thinking about it.

If is a Good PSU (1300w) like Corsair Gold, Go ahead.

Well you know sometimes it is cheaper to just produce one board.

Reminds me of some Fluke electrical meters where some guys will drill holes in the case to gain access to additional functions as they use the same pcb on the cheaper units as the more expensive ones.

That is right. But you have to be careful with the power drawn through the +12V PCIE slots. You can to use powered risers.

I have fans set to 60% and temps are around 70c....its undervolted as well and pulling around 120 watts at the wall. Im still working on it, hopefully I can pull over 30MH from them. BTW this ONLY works with linux.

That is very low power consumption for the whole system. How did you undervolt? Do you modifiy the BIOS?

It is much easiler to ask the people in this forum. Most of them are mining the same altcoin and similar setup.

Still very promising and impressive.  Please do share your ambient temps, gpu temps, clock speeds etc.  Tell us what tweaking you had to do to get these numbers.  What miner are you using? 

The numbers your reporting are more in line with what we were all hoping we could get from the RX480.  So we would love to know what your doing. 

I am anxiously awaiting the custom cards to show up so that I can upgrade some of my existing GPU's.  So if it looks like it is possible to get the kind of numbers your seeing that I am absolutely going to jump on the new cards as the custom aftermarket kicks in in the next couple of weeks.
