I see people referencing RX480 doing 28MH and using 120W? What settings are you using for that? Is it for Windows or Linux? I find this very hard to achieve even for under 150W nevermind 120W. Please make sure we count the power drawn from the power risers or from Motherboard if no power riser is used. Also please deduct the correct wattage for your ASR H81 / Celeron CPU at around 50W not 178W like some site say it use. I've been running it with Killawatt to measure and for 27MH I'm pulling more than 165W even with -15% power saving. Even more ideal would be a multi-GPUs Rig as the card tends to run slightly faster by 1MH or more in a single GPU configuration.

Did you undervolt the Core voltage? That should save quite a lot of energy. You may use Helix mod with MSI afterburner.

Helix posted a mod to be used by the MSI afterburner, it will reduce the core voltage. You may search the forum.

Anyone know when new supplies of RX 480s will hit retailers? Newegg has been 100% out of stock for over a week with no restock notifications.

Helix posted a mod to be used by the MSI afterburner, it will reduce the core voltage. You may search the forum. I did search and came up with nothing. I would imagine this would be posted in the front page Wiki if it's true. I don't believe it's possible to get 28MH at 120W, otherwise it would have been mentioned everywhere and we wouldn't be wasting our time trying to do 24MH at 115-125W via undervolting and powersaving which both can be done via the latest Wattman controls. No need to do any mods to be able to get MSI afterburner to allow it.
