Is Gulden a good investment?

I see all these 100% premined ICOs have a high marketcap because mining isn't pushing down the prices. I think if this coin stopped all mining it would go to $500 million marketcap very quickly because it has much more users and usage then the ICOs and It will give gulden more volume but whales are waiting for proof that PoW2 is coming in November.well done.

lol interesting point. i hope this has been taken into consideration by the devs. plans for pow2 have been made a long time ago but obviously it would be worth to reconsider things once in a while.

It is sad but true, I wonder if the devs will hang around if the coin drops out of the top 100 for a extended period of time. They would be better off creating 10 ICOs and profiting off the funding. Lets say you need $100 000 to market your new ICO but each new ICO brings in over $10 million funding , when the ICO is launched you use $500 000 to create fake volumes and buy support on the exchanges for awhile , pocket the rest and move onto creating the next ICO.

But why does the gulden team not temporary stop the mining?

There are more then enough coins available for now. Later On you can add more mineable coins again.

Pretty much nailed it with that post. Some of the idiotic posts in this thread show why Gulden wants to avoid the usual crypto crowd.

There isn't a coin anywhere that is innovating like Gulden. It's laughable that people don't get it.

Price stability is good for mainstream adoption and IMHO the EUR exchanges will help with that. I know a "small scale" community (~50 people) that has switched to crypto for most everyday payments, as soon as the coin they are using went up in price people started to keep the coins instead of paying with them. Took about 3 - 4 weeks after the price increase before people "accepted" the new price and started spending them again.

As for all these coins/ICO's that go up in price due to hype, their community is as dedicated until the next hype coin emerges. Gulden has at least a dedicated community and a coin needs it to have any relevance (if there are no users... what's the point of a coin?).

Starting to pick up Gulden as I spoke to investeerder in PM and he said the PoW2 release would only be March next year and the price would be shattered back to 2000 sat as the 100% PoW reward would continue for a long time. Actual chart above is about the right price.

A low price is good business for the Euro purchasing volume. Nocks and Guldentrader doing good business with traders forcing the price down. Nocks and Guldentrader make more money when the price is low.

I am also eyeing on that price for me to buy NLG and with bitcoin price rally now I am confident that it will hit my buying point target. After buying I am holding my NLG until next year.
