Well there were many players who stating like that, but in the end they still move even to the club they hated before. It reminds me when Fabregas stated that he will never become Chelsea's player, or Isco who said that Real Madrid is an arrogant club. Every players always want to upgrade their skills, performance, and income, so moving to other club is the common way to get that. Now we have to admit how great Totti is.

This seems so not like Arsene Wenger. Maybe he finally gets to point about big transfers and expanding the budget  in order to become succesfull in modern football.

Wenger should have started doing some serious acquisitions years ago.  They have a big war chest.  I get that he is for acquiring young players and developing them in the club, but this isn't the 90's anymore.  Everything is all about the money now, sadly...  And spending is what managers should do if they want to win trophies.  With Mourinho and Pep in the EPL, I doubt Arsenal could win the league.  Plus Klopp and Pochettino are also contenders to be in the top 4.  This coming season is gonna be one of the best in the EPL.  The quality of the managers is in an all time high.  It's a perfect time to be an EPL fan.

If Barca really want to sign Krychowiak, then I guess Mascherano or other defensive players will leave Barcelona soon. Actually I think Barcelona have wasted too much money on some useless transfers in last few seasons, like Vermaelen, Mathieu, and Arda Turan. I will be very hard for Wenger to win the league now that Mourinho and Pep are in the EPL.  The fight is between those two.  And I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal will have a hard time getting into top 4 this coming season with Klopp and Pochettino around.  Even Ronald Koeman is a decent manager too.  If Everton Snags him that's gonna be another headache for the top 4 contenders.

I wish Newcastle wasn't relegated.  Benitez would have been another welcome face in the EPL next season.

That would be a hell of a team.Don't think Madrid actually needs that transfer right now,they have all the possible good players in the team.Winning the recent Cup could be a simple witness.On the other side ,Barca fans would go crazy but again they'll be okay with it.You know back in the day when T.Henry was transferred ,that was when Barca fans actually thought the team would not do well.But winning the season again just proved ,one person does not totally defines the entire team.They're just an advantage.I'd like to see the transfer happen though!Replace him by Ronaldo!

A player in good form will always seek to improve himself by playing for a better side with better team guys and support. However I am also not having a good feeling about vardy's carrer in Arsenal. He should have stayed in Leicester City. 29 year old guy had a great season and i seriously wanted him to drive another good season for Leicester City.

I really agree with Joel_Jantsen.Real Madrid already have so many good players and bringing one will lead to bench up some of them as well which I think will down up the morale of the players following less chances being given.

Vardy won't have an impact in Arsenal. AND the biggest reason for it is Wenger and their tactics. Wenger won't change the formation for Vardy, he didn't change Arsenal's tactic for bigger names.
They will continue to play with 1 striker and Vardy is not that type of a player.

I think Carrick is being offered a 1 year contract.  Mata might go if Mourinho deems him as surplus for what he needs.  He was sold by Mou at Chelsea because he didn't defend much and lacked pace according to the reports.

I mostly agree of letting those players go.  But yeah, I hope Mata stays.  Man United is going to have one hell of a transfer window under Mourinho.  I hope they get to acquire the sporting director of Sevilla.  They say he's good.
