You think the whole thing is a scam because someone used your friends account. No, it is a scam because: youre breaking the law and have duped investors for publically raised funds
Indeed they have. At no point did they make it clear they were operating from accounts that were not originally theirs, which means people made decisions to 'invest' on the basis of fraudulent misrepresentation.Fraudulent MisrepresentationUnder contract law, a plaintiff can recover against a defendant on the grounds of fraudulent misrepresentation if (1) a representation was made; (2) that was false; (3) that when made, the representation was known to be false or made recklessly without knowledge of its truth; (4) that it was made with the intention that the plaintiff rely on it; (5) that the plaintiff did rely on it; and (6) that the plaintiff suffered damages as a result.

Isn't this the story of every ICO ever? I know it is for Waves with my investment currently being stuck in there meanwhile they have tons of missed deadlines, zero accountability for how they've been spending 30k BTC, etc... Was Waves launched with bought and stolen forum accounts? Not sure what that has to do with anything. I think anyone living in the real world knows that with any investment there's going to be a lot of false promises with this project I've seen met timelines and responsiveness out of the devs. With Waves, I've seen intentional lack of responsiveness, missed timelines and lack of accountability for 30k BTC. I'm not angry at the LIR team, nor am I at the Waves team. It's pretty much what I would expect out of an ICO. ICO's aren't exactly the most legal things either. Let me ask you this, much like your investments, when you vote for your political leaders do you think they'll uphold every promise they make?

Let me ask you this, much like your investments, when you vote for your political leaders do you think they'll uphold every promise they make?
Typical irrelevant response. Put it this way, most if not ALL of the people who have given money to those behind this ICO would have done so believing they were long-standing forum members with their reputation on the line. This was not true. Those two accounts were bought/stolen and used to launch an ICO which collected money but concealed the fact they were not the original account owners. Selling something to somebody else on the basis of information which is not representative of the truth is fraud. Plain and simple. Do you often hand money over to proven fraudsters?

Not saying you're wrong about that, but when after investing and the ICO ends from what I see the devs deliver on their promises and continue to work on and deliver on developing content I could care less If they were clearly stalling on a time line like when they said there would be a revamp of the dice game and it ended up taking months I'd be more skeptical but................

I don't know if you are the original owner of your account and you don't know if I am mine. That's how the forum goes. I don't remember the devs showing up at my front door, ringing the bell, waiting for me to come down from watching the game and putting a gun to my head forcing me to buy into lir. Nope I don't remember that one bit. What I do remember is why I invested. I invested because I wanted to invest in a dice site but do it in a newer and fresher way then all the other dice investment options. And guess what. Every step of the way I've been happy.

Typical irrelevant response from myself. Do you often hand money over to proven fraudsters? Do you often wait until the devs have their money in hand before you try and destroy a project leaving investors with nothing if the devs were to have enough? That is nice of you. Luckily for us the devs are not fraudsters and they will maintain the site long into the future even when your still buthurting they will still be here doing their thing. You're right since this guy come along has lost me half my value of investment. What have I done wrong to deserve you making my investments briefly turn to shit? I hope you're happy with yourself you sad fuckers. Moving on I still trust the dev team and will continue to so fk em.

LOL. Sure. Ummm, one small note, Mr 'I Love Poloniex', which you might want to consider in rushing to the defence of the fraudulent accounts behind this project, Poloniex aren't exactly keen to host coins which have launched on the basis of bought/stolen accounts. So there's that relevance in the grander scheme of how the use of bought/stolen accounts is directly going to impact things, no matter how much of a committed fanboi you are.

I love how people like you pride yourself on being the white knights of bitcointalk after all your on the default trust list yeah? Meanwhile lets suppose everything you're saying is true the only people you served to fuck over is the investors, the devs walk scotch free.

Wow, the least thing is know is, the developers are legit, and that is why, I am going to buy at 700 sat from Yobit, I know I will earn much more within a month, as I know the supporters of LIR are much more than those who are against LIR.

I am sprry for you guys losses in this scam project, even you see OP account, it looks like a bought/hacked account. He claimed he is a ethereum and smart contract expert, but he never post those tech posts before, only make the story to hype the project.
