Tytanick -- don't know if this question was posted already ... will your smOS support WIFI anytime soon?

I think I saw in previous post that it will be supported in future versions.

Ubuntu 16.04 should already support WIFI but just to clarify for smOS.

Thanks.

No WIFI, at least not shorttime

Hi Tytanick

Would it be possible to add a miner for Decred.

Use the sgminer v5.5 for Pascal

the decred algorithm is also included in this version so you can just change the "-k pascal" to "-k decred" and off you go.

Sample:
-k decred -o stratum+tcp://decred.hk.nicehash.com:3354 -u <yourBTCaddress>.$rigName -p x -I 21 -w 64 -g2 --text-only

Note: I am not too sure if "-I 21 -w 64 -g2" is best settings for DECRED. Anyone knows?

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Rig grouping i didnt started. I will start  this feature soon.

Wifi, not right now but more and more people ask about it so i guess i should think about it.

Hi,
Im getting this error when the OS try to auto upgrade, what I should do?
Thanks.
Dont worry about it. As long as everyting is working.
Updating from other rigs in network ? nope. This is too much work.
Anyway all updates are incremental so only new things are downloaded. its more less 1-10 MB for each update.
Is it too much ? If they are downloading not longer than 30 minutes then i would say its should not be a problem.

I was busy with starting prototype of Extension Board for SRR.
Just few more days and i will be moving again is SM OS updates.

Great! hope you finish your work quick and return to OS development, in my case is very bad managing several clients with diferent email address... so this group feature is a must.

I will try starting more rigs on your OS after grouping is done.

Thank you

Tytanick...

Claymore newest ZEC miner... fixed a number bugs with relations to intensity settings.

v12.2:

- fixed issue with "-ttli" option.
- improved "-mport" option, now you can specify network adapter IP for incoming connections for remote management.
- added "-old 1" option, try to use it if v12.0 works stable for you, but v12.1 is unstable.

Hi Tytanick,

Please add/replace/update latest sgminer-GM-5.5.5-8

Thanks!

UPDATE: 1067 again
I fcked up Tongue
sgminer-gm-nh-5.5.5-7 miner was in deed normal sgminer-gm-5.5.5 (from the beginning !) Tongue
Sorry guys, I already fixed it right now. It was wrong path becasue i copied it from normal sgminer and forgot to change path to sgminer-nh ...
Please RELOAD miner right now and you will be using sgminer-gm-nh-5.5.5-7 Tongue

I also changed default config for this miner:
--no-submit-stale --kernel cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://cryptonight.eu.nicehash.com:3355 -u 1ERRVbvV23h51ScH73nQr6TDmaieKNuuVD.$rigName -p x --rawintensity 1008 -w 8 --text-only

On RX480 4GB --rawintensity 1008 -w 8 is best - try it !

can we do this ?

I do not see it below.

Meanwhile, you can use this Phil.

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal <yourETHaddress>.YourWorkerName -epsw x -dpool pasc-us-east1.nanopool.org:15555 -dwal <yourPASCaddress>.YourWorkerName -dcoin pasc

Claymore v8 may soon get v8.1, a number of miners has same symptoms -- see CDM thread.
Try using the -ethi command to control the intensity it may help. I use -ethi 1 (thats nearly lowest intensity to control wattage, overheating etc). ETH mining is always memory intensive and heavy duty. Expect the extra load when you dual mine PASCAL.

I have a pasc at polinex there are two numbers one is for polinex one is for my load address.

So do I go .    Polxxx.load.

You can always mine at Suprnova which uses a username.workername instead of a wallet address to mine.

The account page on Suprnova has a good example of how to setup your withdrawals using Poloniex.

Payment Address. Syntax: 123456-12.payload For example Polo: 86646-64.aeb0b5fe99694894

86646-64 you'll find out is Poloniex's account number and the rest of that string after the . is your load address.

Okay looks like I got the pandaminer stable mining eth and pasc

I am using claymore-eth v8.0

https://simplemining.net/#minerOptions5

the key was intensity

-epool stratum+tcp://us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0x3ef297e47404a771139472b93621f82c8a832857.Simple -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -ethi 4 -dpool stratum+tcp://pasc-eu1.nanopool.org:15555 -dwal 86646-64.d3c2c1e866a79ef4.simple -dpsw x -dcoin pasc -allpools 1 -mport 3333 -dcri 11

note intensity settings

stable so far and a loss of 4% eth  hash giving me about 2600mh of pascal
