Hey,
In a frustrating position right now. Withdrew some of my balance and was trying to move it another book, btcsportsmatch, but it has yet to receive 1 confirm based on the low fee added (.0001). Is there any way you can add the option to send with .0005 fee for a cost of .0004 or .0005 from our account? It has happened a couple times now and its VERY frustrating since it looks like I'm not going to be able to make my wager I wanted for tonight. I would rather pay .0005 btc out of my account then watching a bet I was wanting to wager go on and win. Its truly the absolute worst feeling when it happens.

Hey King, sorry to hear you missed placing your bet. We provide the fee amount recommended by the bitcoin client. This is calculated as a function of the current volume of transactions and is intended to include a transaction in the next block. In almost all cases it works, but occasionally it can fall short. Unfortunately, even if we gave an option to add .0004 BTC that still couldn't ensure inclusion in the next block (in fact, when needed we sometimes have paid fees higher than this).

We pride ourselves on instant withdrawals, and in almost all cases our withdrawals make it into the next block, but we can't guarantee this for all withdrawals.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

We've been doing a little end-of-summer accounting and we're very happy to share that we've paid out over 25 BTC to affiliates of BitBook!

Thanks to everyone for the continued support. We'll keep working hard to deliver the best possible bitcoin sportsbook!

If anyone isn't yet an affiliate of BitBook but would like to be, please send us a PM and we can help you get set up.

Although I play with you folks regularly because of financial security I'm starting to lean to another book more often as the vig is much lower than what you offer. It never hurts to have two funded accounts but in all honesty I'm seeing less value everyday playing at BitBook. Maybe that can change who knows guess time will certainly tell.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We always appreciate when users let us know what they are thinking.

To be honest, we recently did a re-evaluation of our odds and determined that we could lower our take across the board. For baseball we now have as low as 8 cent lines, depending on the game. Unless you find a book that is leaving old lines up, I doubt you'll find any events on which we don't have equal or better odds.

-105 in football has just made you a must play book for me in the NFL. Will you do the same for the NCAA? If so, I may not need another cash book or BTC book.

Yes, we plan to have similar lines for NCAA. It is possible that we won't hit -105 on some smaller games/conferences, but for the most part our odds should be just as competitive!

Sorry about the outage. A brief issue with our hosting provider. Everything has been back for a couple hours now.

The guy who is 143-64-17 (or something like that), plays there so I doubt it. Also I doubt they're those kind of people.

Your bet should now be graded. We have automated grading in place for most major events, but we do not have this for e-sports. We're working hard to grade all bets as quickly as possible, but events requiring manual review can sometimes take a couple hours to be settled.

We'll continue to work to grade bets quicker, but sometimes it may take as a couple hours.

BitBook does not block any users from placing bets.

We have many users that are well up on us, and we continue to accept bets from all of them.

I am up quite a bit and still have no problem wagering or cashing out, especially live betting (wish I knew my full record for my couple of accounts). A breakdown of average line wagered on, actual profit betting before games, and profit from live games would be helpful if you introduced a player stat page.

When I started live betting, I noticed you could bet repeatedly the max, when they limited it I thought they had limited my account to 2 BTC max win haha, checked under a diff account and not the case. Saw last night u raised the limits for live betting, appreciate it.

Also, that bitcoinsucker dude is killing you guys at those egames lol, crazy stuff.

Quick question, I bet on Furyk over Mahan today; is the bet determined by totals from round 3 only, or totals of round 1-3?
