You came at bitbook with an arrogant attitude, almost demanding and angry. Sometimes it happens, however you cannot assume any bet will win or lose, there is no locks thus, just a potential missed opportunity. I am not affiliated with bitbook except for having a lot of referrals linked to my account. I personally just don't like when people don't handle themselves professionally, gambling is for adults and not children so I expect people to act accordingly. Gambling should not make or break your financials so really nothing should upset you.

Bitbook is a great book, in the future if you want to place a bet on a team for a certain amount consider doing this (as an example):
You want to place an if-bet, meaning if the first bet wins you want to bet on a second game. However the site you use does not offer if-bets, here is another option: parlaying some of your bet.

Example: You have $105 and want to wager $105 on a soccer game +100 but also a football game later for $110 at -110 odds. But you only want to wager $110 and not the full $210 you would get as a result from your soccer game. Thus do two bets, a straight bet and a parlay bet as followed:
Straight bet on the soccer game $50 to win $50.
Parlay bet of $55 of soccer game and the football game. These two bets would be the same as a rolling if bet as described above allowing you to bet on multiple games with the same funds but it not being completely an ALL or nothing.

Parlaying was not an option, I was going to do that very thing, but the parlays tab did not work on my phone, even in landscape mode.

It don't matter. Games over. Shoulda woulda coulda.

Just a combination of a perfect storm this morning ruined my day.

I guess I misunderstood.

Should work to understand your new customers a little better, I feel like my small bets don't even matter.  Would it have been difficult to enter my bet on my behalf when I pmd you way before the cin game started? And again like 5 minutes before?

If kingofsports is part of your team, he needs to not act like a condecending asshole to people. He could have worded his response a whole lot better.

I like your site a lot. I've got a bad taste in my mouth though. I'd never have bet that soccer match had I known I wouldn't have been able to get my college play in I wanted.

Thanks for you understanding and we appreciate that you like BitBook. We're sorry if you got the feeling that we don't care about small customers. We assure you this isn't the case -- when we settle any event, all bets, big and small are settled at the same time. Nonetheless, we'll continue working hard to grade all bets as quickly as possible.

Guys going to a friends house to watch the MMA fights, and I dont know nothing about it but going to let my friend pick.

I understand the ML picks on the fighters, but the over/unders is that Rounds.

Ie on Magnus Cedenblad vs. Jared Hamman  its 1.5 , so over is betting that fight lasts more than 1.5 rounds.

Yes, the over/under is on the number of rounds a fight lasts. When determining if a fight went past a "half-round" you look to the exact time that it was completed. For instance, if a fight with 5 minute rounds ends 2 minutes and 50 seconds into the second round, it will be considered over 1.5 rounds (because the first round was completed in its entirety and the second round was more than half completed).

Hi,

I just signed up and made a small deposit of 0.15BTC about 30 mins ago, but no sign of it in my account. Is it normal to take this long? As I read on the site its usually 10 minutes.

Thanks.

EDIT : Sorry, I forgot to confirm the transaction in my email. Confirming now. My mistake.

Deposits show up once there is 1 blockchain confirmation. Usually this takes only 10 minutes, but it can vary depending on how crowded the blockchain is, and how much a fee you include for the miners. Withdrawals are processed automatically and are sent immediately.

We will do our best, but we are super busy tonight and some grading, including MMA, may actually be a little but slower than usual. We will do our best to be quick, but we want to let you know up front that we may be a little slower than normal. Thanks!

Just placed my first bet on the MMA. Is my first time using the site, how long after the event say if you bet wins do you recieve your winnings.

Just curious, as if my first bet wins. I want to place it all on another fight!

Thanks.

Awesome. Our speed of grading varies by events. For most major events (NBA, MLB, NFL, most Soccer) we have automated grading which happens within minutes of event completion. Unfortunately we do not yet have this for MMA, so grading can sometimes take longer. We will do our best to grade quickly, but we cannot reliably promise to grade MMA fights before the start of the next fight. We are usually pretty quick, but tonight we are super busy and grading some of the fights could take a bit longer.

We can definitely look into this. In general we try not to bite off more than we can chew with our offering, so as to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for all events that we do offer. In some cases this means offering less events, but if there is significant interest we are always open to expanding our offering. Thanks for the suggestion!

On the subject of esports, nitrogenesports currently has slightly better (that is, smaller) margins on some of the SC2 WCS WOR CHS lines. We're talking really small difference (for example, as of right now, Dream vs BByong moneyline has 1.925 on each, whereas nitrogenesports has 1.926 on each), but still Tongue

Made an error on my part which ended up saving me quite a bit of money. Put couple of BTC on Washington Nationals today and put a couple more on them during live play...welll I misclicked I guess and turns out the second bet was on the Phillies. Found 4.59 BTC in my account I was not expecting after coming home from a party. Thru some luck turned it into 6 and cashed out. Not a bad day. Smiley

It is impossible for us to guarantee that we always will have better odds than everyone else on every event. And even if we were to make this guarantee, a smaller competitor could always raise odds just to mess with us. In this case, perhaps they were better by 0.001. However, if you do an analysis across many sports and events, you will find that BitBook offers very high payouts. We believe that our high payouts combined with our fast bet settling and instant withdrawals makes us the best option for bitcoin sports betting. But, of course, it is up to the users to make that decision Smiley

why does it take forever to deposit into bitbook? I have been waiting for hours now.  For some cases, it just goes in ridiculously fast, but sometimes it takes forever, and I need it into my account asap.

Deposits show up once there is 1 blockchain confirmation. You can always speed up deposits by including a higher miner's fee. The best way to track your deposit is through blockchain.info: https://blockchain.info/address/YOUR_DEPOSIT_ADDRESS
