why does it take forever to deposit into bitbook? I have been waiting for hours now. For some cases, it just goes in ridiculously fast, but sometimes it takes forever, and I need it into my account asap.
Deposits show up once there is 1 blockchain confirmation. You can always speed up deposits by including a higher miner's fee. The best way to track your deposit is through blockchain.info: https://blockchain.info/address/YOUR_DEPOSIT_ADDRESSok i just did that, and It says it has 51 confirmations and it hasn't even gone into my bitbook account. This has happened more than once. |

New Max Bet: 30 BTC
In anticipation of the upcoming NFL season we are very happy to raise our Max bet to 30 BTC!
We still may have lower limits well in advance of an event's start time, for very popular options, or for smaller events. However, for most larger events we will be accepting bets up to 30 BTC.

I think I've noticed a bug: although "time left" for bets seems to update automatically without need for page refresh, it doesn't seem like odds do all the time. There were several instances where I'm watching the lines, they don't change, and then suddenly after a refresh the lines change. Unless I happened to refresh exactly when the lines changed, it's a bug that should be fixed to give some indication. Although I haven't placed any bets yet I'm sure betters wouldn't like to press "Bet" only to see that it wasn't bet because the lines moved, or worse, to place the bet at the current odds that you don't see.
It could also be that it's some kind of bug in my browser, but it's worth looking at.

It doesn't allow you to bet if the line has changed. You'll get a notice that says refresh browser if you try to bet at the old number. |

Your bet will only be placed at the odds that you are shown. We definitely do not accept a bet and then change the odds from what a user has seen. Sometimes if there is a shift when you attempt to bet we will provide a tooltip that indicates that the odds have shifted and suggest that you refresh your browser. |

whats up mr bb, whats the popular bet limit for footys side n totals, if its low and i feel its gonna get bet on alot im gonna put the bet in alot earlier. i ran into mlb popular bets yesterday n today , u guys getting really bigtime, i dont mind it for mlb, but footys it drives me nuts when i cant get my bet down. is it possible to add some kind of indicator that its a popular bet and its running out of room, by the time i put the wager down and its a popular bet theres no more room. thanks dude

What will the grading speed be like on tonights UFC? Done a few bets, waiting on one that won. Would like to bet again on the later fights.
We've been woking on an auto-settler for MMA which settled most fights quickly after completion, but for a few we had to do a manual review, so they took longer. We should be getting quicker and quicker! |

We have high limits for football, but it is definitely possible that we get a couple max bets on one side and have to limit our risk. For most games you should be able to bet right up until start time without a problem, but the safest choice is to bet a little bit earlier. |

If we were allow a user to make a 7 option parlay with odds of 400:1 we would either have to limit the amount they can risk to something very small, or accept the chance of losing a very large amount. Running our book responsibly is of the utmost importance, and we are committed to delivering a great experience with every functionality we offer, so we decided to keep the parlays at a manageable max of 4 options. With that said, we are considering increasing to 5 options, and I will definitely pass along your feedback. |
