Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hi, everyone. Like coinslut, I have a problem with cryptocurrencies. I have spent days watching the ticker at BTC-E and now I've made my first investment by mining a whole 0.5ppc and turning it into 448dvc.

I'm really.

Really hyped.

 I'm Phil.

I used to invest in gold-mining, but I never REALLY got gold fever...

  P2P is the future.

I am very interested in how capital markets evolve due to P2P currencies.  I am looking into Ripple, right now.

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Vishwa Jay

Just getting into Bitcoin stuff, been active since I read about the lame DDoS stuff last week. Am interested in this more from a technical aspect, since I've been looking for some ideas regarding alternate currencies for a while (~18 years or so). I remember hearing about Bitcoin in 2011, but I didn't take it seriously. It's serious now!!! Shocked

My "day job" is being a life coach for Everything Wins Life Coaching, as well as teaching Buddhism to a bunch of Buddhism students (one is done to pay the bills, the other because I love doing it... you get to guess which is which). Wink

I just joined Slush's pool, am already at BTC0.001 confirmed using my crappy old laptop with 33.2 MHash/s ... got some good "beginners' luck" with this!  Cheesy

Am on this forum because I saw a question I just asked myself (to someone who shrugged and said "Google it!"), and want to track the answers.  Grin

Hello:

I had posted on this thread before about my problems with mining. I think it's the wrong thread to post about technical problems but I'm a noob and I can't post on other threads. Can anyone, please tell me exactly where to find help? It will be muchh appreciated....

I'm a soft engineer come from China.
I brought bitcoin since 2011 and I would hold it to 2111 if I were still alive.
