Hiya,

I've been following Bitcoin for a while now.  Not really doing anything serious, just interested in the technology behind the Bitcoin and the hardware needed to perform mining... mainly for fun.

At the moment I am using GUIMiner on my main office PC with an AMD HD6800 card... getting a very modest 205 Mhash/s and I'm about to press my wife's computer into action as well.

I'm a guy with nothing to do and more than enough time to fiddle with alt currencies. I'm approaching the whole idea the way you would the stock market. Assume you'll lose, hope you will win.

Hi. I'm icellan. Getting bit hard by the bitcoin virus.

Background as a developer and am looking to create a business around bitcoins.

The whole idea of a currency that is out of control of the central banks and market manipulation just sounds awesome.

I've been involved in bitcoin on and off for a while now, including mining for a while with about a 500 mhash/sec output. Someone recently proposed starting a mining pool and that got me back in to it, mostly because of my interest in working on some of the software for mining pools - it's in a very poor state right now.
