Was interested in 2006 and was thinking of buying a bunch of BTCs but had a tough time buying from Canada.  Kicking myself for not applying more diligence.

Hello! I have been using Diablominer for awhile now, itzod.ru mining pool, D4 works best for me with only about 0.01% rejected thought I'd make an effort to introduce myself. I've asked theymos to activate my account a few times, but apparently I have to post here until I get activated Grin

I have atower running an AMD Tahiti HD 7870 XT with a 7950, which pulls ~1.03 G/h overclocked. I live in an apartment all bills paid so I don't have to worry about the light bill. My PSU is a 1000 Kingwin 80+ Platinum grade, and I have a 55w ivy bridge intel Celeron, with a SSD hooked up, so regardless it's about as efficient as it gets. My coolermaster does a good job cooling.

As you can see from my name, I'm a miner. I just don't have the patience to wait on a Butterfly labs machine. I built my first rig in 2002 when I was 12, so I feel comfortable with my own (PC)setup. My parts come from Newegg with extended replacement warranty.

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

Hello! I've been following Bitcoin for over a year and lurking on the forums for a little less than that. Now I'd like to join the conversation.

I've hacked together some scripts to generate reports but never really contributed anything back. With any luck, others might be able to use what I've put together as I release them.

Looking forward to it!

Hi all!

Amazing to be a part of this crypto-currency journey!
I believe Bitcoin is becoming a commodity, or store of value. So I'm very interested in the rise of Litecoin as a currency alongside Bitcoin.

When I first heard about BTC I just didn't have enough effort to search up everything and get used to the topic. Man, that was a stupid decision.
Well, anyway, hello everybody, I'm the new one.

Hi everyone, I'm David. For the last 5 years I've been running a social games start up, that stopped at some point last year.

I first saw bitcoins about 6 months after they came out. I tought, mine them for $0.05 a bitcoin, you gotta be kidding me, i got better things to do! Boy was I wrong ;-) Wish I could turn back time haha.

I've been into bitcoins for about 3 days now and i'm fascinated, I hope to find out a lot more about them on this forum.

Hi all,

I've lurked for quite a while, but I've register an account only yesterday.

well I've mined for a few days, using btcmine.com's pool,  back in nov '11
but my radeon 5750 was already to weak to mine properly. To be honest one reason to stop
my mining  activity was the negative trend of BTC/USD had at that time.
in fact btc lose ground against dollar for a few months in a row since
June 2011 (when the first bubble burst) till Jan '12. Thinking about it now
I would say I was quite short-sighted, hopefully this is not the case anymore.

Anyway I'm here trying to spread my knowledge about bitcoin.
In the long term I'm interested in both mining and trading.
Of course I'm quite fascinated by all the feedbacks/effects that
virtual fiat currency, like bitcoin,  has on the real world.
