Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Good morning all!

We are the creators of "BitCoins Mobile" the world's first bitcoin app for iPad! (iPhone/iPod Touch/Android planned for future release)

We'd love to become part of the community to discuss the future of bitcoin and also be able to respond to discussions related to our application. (e.g. http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=33168.0)  We look forward to becoming a valuable contributor to the community on many topics, not just a champion of our own product.

Hi,

Figured I'd introduce myself.

I've been reading about Bitcoin for a while but only just got round to trying it out.  I've just got started with mining, and plan on using it to buy a few game time codes Smiley

Hi,

I discovered Bitcoin just yesterday – and I'm totally hooked! Such an interesting concept. I'll try to get some more info here on the forums. Thanks for having me!

Greetings everyone.

I discovered Bitcoins in early February and I have been lurking on the forums for a while. I figured its about time I registered so I can participate now that I find myself on these forums daily.

Cheers

Call me Sala, I am new to this BitCoin Thingy, atm having some issues with Transactions but still I cant understand the process of mining alone!

Every site says its a percentage even to get BT of mining! :////
At the end, its nothing more of using energy gambling!

ANOTHER problem is that soon NO Solo people can mine BitCoins anymore because only Rhich people have the change to mine!

The "Pool" Mining System makes it worse for Solo Miners, so there will be large groups who will use Mining Power from each one! It looks like ROutinework Slavery with COmputers LOL!

BitCoin will be go really crazy!

Hi everyone.  As you might have guessed by this post, I'm new here.  I'm still exploring what BTC can be used for.  My normal machine can be used to mine in its downtime (Radeon 6870), so it's serving as a miner when I'm not using it (about 22 hours of the day).

I haven't tried an actual transaction yet.  I'm still trying to figure out whether or not I can secure my wallet on my side or whether an online wallet is best.  Online seems much more practical, but much less trustworthy.

IRL, I have a math/financial career.  I like crypto, and I've had an introductory class to it, but nothing serious.  I'm not as pie-in-the-sky about BTC being worth huge amounts of money someday, but I'll be happy if I can get an electronics slush fund out of it.

Hey, I'm digibo.

I'm looking to sell some of my used Playstation 3 games in the Marketplace subforum. One more post after this.
