hello everyone.  so excited to start trading.

Then why are you here?

They're there, in their room.
Your mining rig is on fire, yet you're very calm.

Posting from work, I didn't know a single thing about Bitcoin until last week, I had an extra 6950 that wasn't being used for much so I decided to try my hand at mining.  Dwolla is taking FOREVER to process my payment or else I'd try trading as well, hopefully I can make some money.

Hi everyone, my name is nrkrs.  Grin

I am Incomer, nice to meet you.

I am a 34 year old Madagascan who speaks mainly in French, so I might be a little bad at getting my point across in English, though I did pass it in school. My parents came out here back in the late '60s and loved it so much they stayed. I am glad they did, it is a pretty nice place to live.

I would hazard to guess that most people here are from the US, though I would like to see how many other people are also from other parts of the world.

I've spent some time reading about bitcoin, and I think this will be a wonderful technology for the 21st century with regards to digital currency.  Looking forward to getting my first bitcoin! Smiley

It appears to be a fairly good alternative to what we currently use, and also appears to be quite resilient to shocks that would have crippled another type of currency.

Keep mining, you will get your first fairly soon, despite the corrupting influence of the pools.
