Heyo, I'm a newbie playing with Bitcoins, and fundraising a bit by having people mine with me at Triplemining. I ran a Minecraft Classic server (epicCreations.org Freebuild) until it was compromised a small time ago. I started fundraising for a new VPS just recently, and decided that this might be a good way to have others fundraise even if they don't have the resources or means to donate. I'm hoping it will prove fruitful

The said notes shall be obligations of the United States and shall be receivable by all national and member banks and Federal reserve banks and for all taxes, customs, and other public dues. They shall be redeemed in lawful money on demand at the Treasury Department of the United States, in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, or at any Federal Reserve bank.

The Bitcoin concept seems interesting.  It is the first serious attempt at creating a de-centralized, non-commodity backed electronic currency that I can recall.  I'm excited to play my small part in it.
