Just registering to keep up the community and reply to a topic, but it seems I'm restricted to just here :-(.

Hopping in the "get your postcount up" thread.

I'm excited to see a decentralized, anonymous, encrypted, stable currency. I see it as an investment in the future of our economies.

because they want to see that your active.  if a scammer can get 100 bitcoins for spending .000001 it was totally worth it.

Personally im fine with the restrictions,  you stick with reading articles and small talk or replies on topics you found interesting and your good in no time.

Hi. I am El.Zilcho666.

Been on the IRC for a while, I was stupid august last year and sold 400 BTC (cpu mining ftw back then) for £30, I am now mining for slush's pool with my trusty ATI 5830.

Hope you like me.

Hi, I'm Dr. Fuzzy.  Former faculty at Carnegie Mellon, and combat robot builder (Robogames, BattleBots).

I've been mining about a week, running an ATI 5870 on a MacPro; currently mining at nofeemining.com (a new but very friendly pool).

Howdy!

Is this a scam?

Just got an email about a great new minner that will increase production but how did they get my email? Mt Gox?

It's very slick.
