please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It's nice to have a place to discuss BTC and mining.  This has peaked my interest immensely.

If anybody is into progressive rock, you can download all of my records for free at:  http://discography.woolgatherband.com/, as a thank you for all your help here.

Hello!

I've been lurking these forums for about half a year now. I live in West-coast Canada and work in web media production and print design. I love bitcoin as a concept and really look forward to seeing how bitcoin will evolve and grow in the future.

Cheers!

Hi Everyone,

I first heard about Bitcoin from a friend's post on FB back in March of this year.  I thought how could any of this work without some hacker breaking into the system and making their own Bitcoins and spending them in thee network.

Well, fast forward to six months later and after reading some articles in Forbes and Wired, I became hooked. I am trying out mining and exploring almost anything that is related to Bitcoin.

Hi McLuvin,

I don't have any bitcoins to sell yet.  Have you tried Bitinstant https://www.bitinstant.com/howitworks/cash ?

Your signature is interesting, buy bitcoin with a credit card... I didn't think anyone did that because cc transactions can be reversed for 30 days whereas BTC cannot.
