Hi, I'm your local Deli meat slicer. I'm new to Bitcoin and am still learning how it works. Seems as though its pretty hard to acquire Bitcoins without going to walmart or cvs and buying them with cash... I've searched and searched and it looks like its nearly impossible and, or risky to buy them using a debit card. I'm interested in any new free ways to acquire them. Mining is probably not an option for me. Thanks!
Hey MrDeliMeatSlicer, I recently joined and similarly looking for ways to earn btc, I setup pool mining on a few sites to get an idea but really my graphics card on my laptop is just not worth it, I think it works out about 0.0005 BTC per day. It'd be nice to setup a dedicated mining rig, but it comes at a cost and with the new hardware coming shortly, the whole mining ecosystem is unknown. There's a lot of free bitcoin sites giving out mBTC or nBTC btu I reckon pyramining is a decent alternative to start out and specualte, it essentially gives you regular returns on your investment. You need a sponsor to be able to join so use mine if you like: http://www.pyramining.com/referral/pekq9fh36 2012-11-18 12:18:18 UTC still active or http://www.pyramining.com/referral/3mr7bdeyh 2012-11-18 12:18:18 UTC still active I've already got some return deposits from it, so it's looking good, just need to invest a higher amount to get a faster return Cheers from the jungle!

I'm Mike. Registered recently (yesterday) to be involved with the Bitcoin community.
Still have a lot to learn, but made the first steps.
My interests are currently mining, and the technical aspect of it. I've been mining for a short period by my GPU (workstation) and CPU on a few servers I've. I'm aware that it not gives me any ROI, however I think it's a good way of getting involved.

I'm tyrannis.
I've been lurking the boards for a while, answering my questions without ever having to ask.
Now Dwolla is making me set up an account with their BS. I'm looking for a quick trade between Dwolla and MtGox, and bitcointalk has the thread for it. I really wish I would have paid more attention to what everyone was saying about Dwolla before I sent them money.

Hello, I'm jibinkor.
Signed up to post questions in the rare cases I cannot find them answered already. I'm still learning about bitcoin, but the more I do, the more enthused I become. I sincerely hope bitcoin will gain mainstream acceptance after the dollar collapses, and I'd like to be a part of making that happen.
As an anarchist (of the Mises/Rothbard/Hoppe school) I am very interested in the potential bitcoin has for liberating humanity from the parasites who claim the right to rule by aggressive force. I'm also studying computer science, and hope to some day make a real contribution to the bitcoin economy (hopefully making a buck for myself in the process).

Well hello there! I should really reconsider my career path. The programming route is much more productive and lucrative path than what I'm doing. It's good to see a fellow AnCap newbie.

I'm trying to find a trustworthy person on this board to purchase bitcoins, I have pay pal and would be more than happy to arrange something. Unfortunately my dwolla account won't let me use it for a month or so....

Almost no one will accept PayPal in exchange for bitcoins. There are a lot of threads on BT about it, but the tl;dr version is PayPal is reversible, leaving the bitcoin seller exposed to scams. The Dwolla freeze only applies to bitcoin exchanges, so try asking someone here to trade. Try searching the marketplace forum for traders.

Just traded Dwolla for MtGox here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=78512.0. You'll have to PM someone offering, though. You can only post in Newbies at the moment. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me. We're kinda steering the thread away from the "introductions" purpose.

Hi i am new here.
I found out about bitcoins around a year ago, but I didn't start then.
I plan later to make a thread where you post referral links for bitcoin sites.

Hello,
I read something about Wordpress starting to accept Bitcoins and somehow I ended up here. I like the worldwide acceptance of the same currency. I start to excited about Bitcoin and my other side job which is dropshipping on eBay and Amazon. We are actually transitioning to Wordpress eCommerce site and running our own dropshipping store. I think selling in Bitcoins will help us broad our reach.
Are there any Bitcoin Wordpress carts that are super out there?
Ciao
