hello, you can call me jpop84. I registered so I could contribute to the conversation about ouya potentially using bitcoin. it received a lot of skepticism. .. However...Smiley if you visit the developer info you'll see that ouya will not use android market, but will provide an API for in game payment. All ouya games must be free on the android market and organize payment internally... Therefore Ouya may already support using Bitcoin to pay for games, by virtue of it's organization! ... Pretty rad, Amirite. The only potential limitation will be the informed permissions that must be able to accommodate the functionality for bitcoin transaction.

Hello, just introducing myself, Im mining on my old gtx 280 that i no longer use and some old computer stuff thats just been sitting around, at a whopping .10 cents a day now that the reward has been halved. But I dont pay for electricity -- Included in my living so its just for something out of interest.

Hi defekt here. I hang out mostly on IRC bitcoin channels and I am a miner. I come to bitcointalk to keep up to date and I thought it was about time I created an account.

I'm Dherik.  I've been very interested in bitcoins for a couple years now. I run a small (new) barter oriented classified ad site. My other hobby is junk silver arbitrage, mainly junk silver coins. My wife always complains about people coming to our house to buy coins, so I thought well, I don't like giving paypal and square more money than I have to, why not setup a market online using bitcoins! So I figured I should finally register here instead of just lurking. My other addiction is reddit.

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Still on step 2 of my quest to achieve "status"

Post 2

cheers  Smiley

Damn - all those hours spent in the "real" forums wasted.

Note to self - register first. (Of course in many other forums that just MIGHT result in some unintended consequences) Smiley

Don't worry about helping this community grow.  Just use bitcoin to help your business grow, and the rest will come.

Trust me on this, every real vendor and business that starts accepting Bitcoin makes my nest egg more valuable, I've watched it happen.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'
