Hello,

My name is Micheal, I am representative of HOTServers LLC.

After a long research we come to know very few hosting providers are offering bitcoins as payment method for their services, so we thought why not we put our contribution in bitcoins and start accepting bitcoins as payment method for dedicated servers/cloud vps/ddos protection.

I hope we will get appreciate support from old members of forums who are more familiar with bitcoin then us.

Thank You

Hi, I'm a newb,

Very informative site you have here - lots of detailed information about finance and algorithms that you don't generally see anywhere else, combined with a wealth of knowledgeable posters makes for a valuable resource!

Cheers, Paul.

Have been contemplating on whether to start a bitcoin wallet, so I guess this is a start. Sucks that newbies can't start a sale thread. Undecided

Hi I'm smallbits, and I have some useless comments to make now and again.  Actually I'll try and contribute the best I can.  If you can appreciate honesty, despite it maybe unpopular, I'll be more than happy to contribute.

First, the four hour rule is rough, I just leave myself logged in for four hours (as I'd guess many would?).  However, the minimal post count is understandable, I've tried to contribute something worthwhile for the most part, I'm not a bot. Smiley

I've recently been introduced to Bitcoins through a friend.  I've researched, while it seems complex, I think it might be a little later in the game to participate, I don't know yet, especially with these Butterfly Lab machines coming on market, to supposedly change the way everything runs.  I'll be taking a more wait and see approach I think, however, I think Bitcoins is very promising, if not mining, perhaps investing, or for diversifying assets.  While I am new, I don't put much regards into the Butterfly labs opportunity.  I use to be a scam prevention specialist for online activity over the years, and there's some things that don't make me feel easy about this Butterfly labs situation, especially their pre Jan 2011 history.  It's absolutely going to be wait and see, but it would never be my money I would risk given what I see.

Cheers folks.

I count as a newbie. I'm not even mining as yet I'm waiting, and waiting, to get an ASIC rather than spend money on tech I know will be completely outdated very very soon.

My main business is Auto Engineering, but I also run my own online bike parts store
www.blingmybike.com.au

I got into mining from a work college who started GPU mining, then through these forum got a couple of FPGAs. He is working on paying those off and waiting for things to stabilise next year before stepping it up another knotch again.

I plan on building my mining empire little by little as it proves itself.

Interesting the block reward has halved and the BTC exchange rate has actually increased! I didn't think it would make much difference. I'm thinking when the ASICS start coming on line GPU mining will start to become difficult and people leaving the biz and selling their coins will hold the price down.

So I plan on spending cash on hardware for the next 6 months, and saving my earned BTC to then keep buying hardware.
