In fact I'm trying to instal MultiBit 0.4.20 client in Windows 8 (Windows 7 should be the more or less the same)... Problem, though it says it is compatible... First of all, Windows block the installer, saying "Unknown publisher". If you ignore the alert (dangerous in general) and go on, the installer cannot write in "Program Files" directory. If you select another(not default) installation directory, also failure, because the installer cannot write atthe Registry. Huh
I wonder what's going wrong, since it's a well known client, supposely compatible with Windows 8, used by so many people and, searching with Google, I cannot find anything about this problem. Very strange.
Anyway, I'll ask at the specific subforum and thread, but if anyone is using MultiBit in Windows 8 or 7, just tell me.
Thanks!

Welp here I am came once before both times for same reason. Bitinstant order failed now my money is in limbo, and I at their mercy. Must be me I just don't get it I must be spoiled cause in my world outside of bitinstant. Financial institutions fix timely issues like this, have telephone that somebody answers, and realize that there is a responsibility when handling somebodys money to do it right. I just can't believe the low priority given my issue of them holding my money and not fullfilling their end. Whats the tier structure of these financial institutions like bitinstant who do they answer to? Sorry this is th 3rd time this has happened and its plain not right.

Jeez, 18 months here and I've never posted. Felt the need to add something and was looking everywhere for the post button, awkward...

I'm just a little aussie speculator, playing the game, got in a bit late on the big bubble, and made some coins on the way down, lost them betting on the way back up again.. but still getting positive cash returns so what are you going to do...

Probably just Microsoft maneuvering itselt out of the market.
