Hey everyone, I'm B-ran, or just B. I am a member of a few forums involving btc, now this one. I actually ran upon this site due to my funds not being confirmed into my wallet so I was told to come here. Now that I found this, I am super happy because this will answer a lot of my questions. Thanks for the awesome forum admins!!

There are other forums with a focus on Bitcoin? Where?

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Howdy.

Been lurking for a *long* time.

I have some BTC, and I want some more BTC.

This looks like a great place to learn more and talk about it. =D

I am being from Europe. I am here because I like the idea of a truly international currency without the pretence of claiming reserve backing or other illusion. I have done some of bitcoin mining. One day I hope able to be buying my lunch in bitcoins  Grin

Hi All,
Joined P2Pool several days ago, now here's my first post. Looks like I'll need to burn 4 hours scouring the forum to see if anyone had already posted a solution I found last night while traking down a high orphan /DOA and rejected issue. Gimme a while to look for it and if not, wohoo, I get a second post.

Hey everyone,

Long time 'lurker', first time poster. I've been a fan of bitcoins for a while and I've finally decided to sign up, so I can speak my mind about different topics. I'm a 25 year old student/business man, currently located in Luxembourg (originally from the Netherlands and have lived some time in the United States).

I'm a web developer, programmer and I hope to design some websites in the future that will take us, as a community, and the bitcoin 'industry' further.

Regards,
TheInventor

I'm JDB.  I first heard of Bitcoin from a reddit post back in June of 2012, or maybe What.CD a little sooner.  Back then, I tried pooled mining with MtRed, but expected an immediate return (lol).  I decided to try again last November, but moved on to bitparking's pool.  As of now, I have roughly 0.8 BTC in my wallet and hoping to save up for one of Casascius physical Bitcoins.

I didn't know about those. Thanks. I'm thinking of getting one too.
