why hello hello.  I figured I sign up this forum and see what other bitcoin enthusiasts have to say.  I am quite impressed with the recent performance in the bitcoin across all currencies.

I would go buy gold with the profits but unforunately I did not start mining early enough.  The joke's on me.  Unfortunately I did not take bitcoin seriously initially.

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Hello,

I'm Ahmad from Egypt, I started bitcoin mining since about 16 months, but never registered to this forum until a few moments ago, I did to help a miner with a certain GUIminer error but couldn't reply to his post and discovered the 5-post-4-hour, so, here I am:)

Anyways, I am working on a Minecraft server with an economy that runs on 1:1 Bitcoin value.

Message me if you're interested in perhaps working together or just chatting, cheers!

I actually finally made an account here so that I could message someone about this.

Hey all,

I've been mining and playing around with Bitcoin for some time now. Given the recent rise in difficulty I'm starting to mess around with some of the other crypto coins. I've had an ASIC on preorder with BFL and am hoping that they ship sooner rather than later. I've been a reader of bitcointalk for awhile but haven't registered. I hope I can contribute a bit to the community and would like to thank you guys for the work you've done.

I'm also Spartacus.

Think I'm going to write me a quick semitechnical Q&A on Bitcoin, 'cause every explanation I found so far was either too full of analogy or too bogged down in technical detail for my poor brain to digest.

I'm very interested in bitcoin, and now ripple.com.  I'm mostly interested in using them to pay for overseas wholesale products.

Hi, I have never been much of a forum person. Been mining Bitcoins since June 2011. Just signed up here today because of the Ripple thread.

Yeah, and I've been wondering how come we're not seeing more alternative solutions from the people of Greece.  Do you think it's a language barrier?  Or a cultural one?

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'
