Hi, I have never been much of a forum person. Been mining Bitcoins since June 2011. Just signed up here today because of the Ripple thread.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Yeah, and I've been wondering how come we're not seeing more alternative solutions from the people of Greece.  Do you think it's a language barrier?  Or a cultural one?

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

Hello World.  I will be pursuing a degree in Computer Science and I hope to one day be able to contribute to the Bitcoin development team's efforts.  I believe if Bitcoin continues to succeed it will go down in history as a tremendous accomplishment in liberating humanity from fiat slavery.  I'm sure the plantation owners, while they are behind closed doors, are concocting ways to shut down this escape route.  Escape won't be easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is.

Hello!
So it took me about forever and several days to find out I have to have 4 hours and 10 posts to reply to any topic.
I understand why.

I am "MangoJ"  lol.
Nice to meet you.
I could name drop myself!  But for that same reason I prefer to keep my real life private.  Wink
I have about 1.76Mhps mining power on 4 ATI 5870s.
I might post some videos if anyone cares.
Love videos!

Oh and I wont be losing money to BFL or the Avalon scams. Wink

I own zuunk which is free, so feel free to use it to upload pictures, make a blog, forum, events, store files, pictures.. or a online store etc.

I code in HTML, XML, CSS, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Java, Javascript, AppleScript, and am functional but not fluent in Unix, Dos, bla bla bla.
I look forward to being a random technical support issue sniper for kudos!  Grin

Hi MangoJ,

Just curious why are Avalon and BFL scams?  I don't mine yet, but want to start when ASICs come online.

Hi, I am new here. I think bitcoin is here to stay. Since it is already a sizeable economy of people doing sth with it.

I will have offer some services which I think people may have find useful. I will be providing answers for scientific questions.
