I've recently started mining LTC just to get some sort of stake in the cryptocurrency scene.  I look forward to watching the charts with everyone else and speculating on where this technology will be in the future.  I've certainly read more about economics and the modern banking system in the past week than I have in my entire life.

I am a newb, purchased a 7970 Radeon and have been mining for a couple weeks.  I almost up to .5 btc.  I would love to get my hands on an asic miner, but as you guys know that is not very easy to do.

Hi, been watching Bitcoin raise it's head since almost it's beginning but never actually participated, only followed news etc.

Now wetting my finger with these crypto-currencys mostly LTC for now till I understand all the ins and outs of mining, then might invest in some worthy hardware...

Any other newbies using FPGAs? I have not used python, and starting to realize this may be required.

Do you have much experience with FPGAs?

Unfortunately there is a lot of Verilog code, which i can understand, but I have used VHDL since i started.

Newfriend here, but have been mining  a little, and have exchanged quite a lot in BTC (over 150 BTC).

I'm currently starting fresh, as that 150+ BTC was exchanged as currency last year.

Gox is down, nothing else to do, no idea if BTC has collapsed so figured I would say hello! Cool
