Bitcoin has no competition

Bitcoin was the first crypto currency to successfully enter the market.  I do not think that bitcoin will ever leave the market.  Here are other new currencies that will disappear, because no one will get such effect as bitcoin.

Yeah, we already have numerous dead currencies. Think, BTC will manage to survive through years.

Among the coins - bitcoin without competition at this stage. If you think more broadly - whether it has competitors - then the biotechnology market may be developing rapidly, high competitiveness and risk that tomorrow something will be more new.

I do not agree with you. Competitors bitcoin it a lot. it is currently no one can beat bitcoin, but just look at the movement of altcoin fast. It is not possible altcoin will replace bitcoin in the future. Do not overdo with bitcoin and assume that bitcoin is the only one

I think the same.
Altcoin to me is just a way to multiply my bitcoins, sometimes all my bitcoins are invested in a few altcoins but in the end i sell all of them for more bitcoins.

All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

If this does happens then thank developers, for they are the ones that did an awesome job updating bitcoin every so often to provide us users and investors the best and nothing but the best services. However, even if bitcoin seems to be rooted i  the number one spot, if a better cryptocurrency comes along and is given enough crowdfunding, then there will be a competition for bitcoin, so you shouldn't rest easy knowing that any day, the coin that could equal bitcoin may rise.

I wouldn't say that the Bitcoin has no competition because there are some people who like to use other currencies over the Bitcoin. Pay attention to other crypto currencies, bitcoin is not the only one of its kind, but it is users who make valuable crypto currency due to the demand, and consequently popularity. Bitcoin does have a major lead in popularity and worth ahead of the other currencies.

There are many altcoins have been developed to encounter bitcoin and solve the problem which bitcoin currently burdens and unfortunately, even if they have solved all the problem that's not what make the coin becoming as popular as bitcoin.
And just for your information, sometimes those altcoins' developers are actually not aiming to be as success as bitcoin because they just have far little chance, some of them even consider that if the price of their coins in the market were at least above what they offer in ICO,it's sign of success. If one altcoin pursue and continue their project and become succesfull maybe theres a chance to compete with the price of bitcoin.

I think this opinion is redundant, altcoin like Monero, Zcash and Etherium, shows amazing performance.Because other than crypto currency, bitcoin has a huge price and in some countries bitcoin is used in everywhere, But also i will say that bitcoin has competition with all other crypto currencies.

It is not correct in current scenario to say that BTC has no competition. There are many projects coming out to compete the BTC. And some of them have very unique concept and now growing their plans rapidly. The dominance of BTC is just because it revolutionize the blockchain technology.

The post was two years ago and yes, we can say that Bitcoin has no competition at that time because it was fairly used as mode of transactions in buying other potential coins that is still lower than Bitcoin.

Right now, we can now say that Bitcoin has competition even though it still remains in the number 1 spot but a lot of potential coins (alternate coins) are still proving their worth and may have Bitcoin's past values.

I agreed completely with your position on this issue. No other coins will over take bitcoin in any characteristics as at now. I acknowledged the scalability issues with bitcoin and often complain of high transaction fee but these are not enough to bring bitcoin down or for any other coin to overtake it. The developers are looking at those issues to fix them and making bitcoin stronger.

No, BITCOIN has lots of other cryptocurrencies as its competition. Almost all coins are a great competition to BITCOIN as they are attracting people by their constantly rising prices.And ETHEREUM is a great threat to BITCOIN as well.

I partially agree with you. Bitcoin seems to have no competition right now and people who said that bitcoin will fail in the coming years have been proved wrong.I think bitcoin need more time to be on the same level with fiat. And when this time will come bitcoin may be counted as totally adopted.

precisely no alts can above the popularity of bitcoin that is raised to 1 to 1000 alts, bitcoin is leading of all alts find the number which  the name  being popular until now obviously number 1 that's is BITCOIN. Many of alt coins doesn't succeed because it is very big deference than bitcoin that's true many people are benefited the millions of profit but now where is it?

I have always said that no altcoin can surpass bitcoin because bitcoin started with the greatest revolution of decentralisation in our finances. Though altcoins try to solve something they believe the mothercoin falls short of but no other feature can be greater than the freedom of decentralisation.
