Think about what you're doing here: You're asking random people on the internet where to put your money. Generally, there are no 'safe-bets' and one should stay away from ponzi's, cloud mining (as stated by you) and  similar. You're better of reading up on general investing than reading the replies that you will receive here. Most of the suggestions are going to be very useless or backfire on you. You can always play around in the altcoin game if you can afford to lose some coin (you may end up profiting a lot though).
There are also a few threads of similar type, ergo you can look around this section and Begginers & Help. Additionally, you can use the search function.

Bitcoin itself is the investment and that should be enough risk imo.
All those lending platforms and services are often used by thiefs and scammers.
Hold your coins in a safe wallet and have a big smile in your face in about 3-5 years!

As for as, I know in BTCjam plenty of people who borrow money will not return so I suggest don't use this site for the lending purpose. Any site you lend money without any proper collaterals, then you will end up in a lose instead making a profit. So don't ever lend anyone without proper collateral.

If you can take some risks then you can consider investing in few well-trusted casino sites bankroll, surely you will make profits over the time but remember to diversify your investments to avoid significant losses.

I wouldn't recommend btcjam (the scammers paradise) to someone who wants to earn profit with even a small amount of money.
People tends to default on lending sites like that.
If you want to invest , start a lendin thread here. Ask a collateral and secure the loan. Never give your money to anyone or anything if there is no asurance that you can get profit or get your whole money back.

actually i think asking other people for advice is a good thing, because it is like brainstorming and also it is a good way of using other people's experiences.
but you have to be careful about the replies you get. there is always bad suggestions along with good ones. so you have to consider all bad until proven otherwise.

Apart from trading, there is very little that you can do to multiply your bitcoins. And even in trading, you should still be very cautious and wary because your precious bitcoins can be stolen by the exchange itself. Maybe, you could start a business or service.

At a moment Poloniex is the best site for trading as I am trading there since long time and I never faced any issue till date, but yes there is no guarantee that it will survive forever.

Maybe if you want to touch on the previous topic in this forum in various section and wanna to excavate it, I think you will always getting a lot of information is very useful for you to choose your legit site, but for this time I never think there are a legit investment site, that has just become insignificant addition for luring the bitcoiners, I think a lot of people in here will suggest about another way rather than choosing to investment into legit site(you called it) like trading until trying on lending site but i never prefer about lending site because that is very risky.

Poloniex had issues with security in the past. Some sly user managed to withdraw his funds several times, that was lame on the exchange part. After that they evenly distributed the loss among all their clients as if the clients had been guilty in the theft. Doesn't look quite professional, does it? We don't know what other holes may also be there.

Avoiding some site is giving an advice by the senior member,like site with high chance become a scam or there is a scammer in there, like Cloudmining site , lending site and etc. but maybe for the some people is believe until this time is still alive good cloud mining site for invest your amount, but that is just the another people's say. trading become one of the legit sites you can put your money in there but every legit place is not forever become a legit site anytime they can get the something is an impact for their site and changing the people's intention to become a scam. maybe there is no guarantee for you for choosing the legit site, I don't say there is no a legit site but just believe there are a site is having a high chance for you to believe your amount into them. but keep always being careful with your amount. legit site just a rumor.

In this things are right, every time you enter in any exchange platform you must be wise and sensitive  for you to avoid a victim of scammer , always check a potential altcoin were you going to invest in dude!

If you think long-term invest you can take a look rise only markets... However, you can only sell a little amount of money at a time in these markets.
