I am not investing bitcoin anywhere at a moment as I think it is very risky move to make but I am investing my fiat in buying bitcoins and saving them for future as bitcoin itself is an best investment.

I think the investment will always be at risk. You can not invest if you always avoid the risk, even when you're just holding bitcoin though there is always a risk. I think it's not a problem using bitcoin just to hold it. although the risk is small enough, you still have a risk to lose you should know it

If you want to grow your money, then you should need to take some risks like lending your money with proper collaterals are quite safe to grow your money but don't ever lend money without any collateral. You should accept collateral which you can sell easily without any issue for safer side.

Agree without taking risk then you cant earn money or you cant earn a lot of profits. Taking risk is a part of this world in this bitcoin and if you dont risk nothings happen and also loosing is a part of our life so we should accept it

Once you are in here you should have that way of thinking. First seen with bitcoin my mind already told me that it is an investment although satoshi never really intended it for that. But we invest to go with the flow of the rising price. That's just it.

Any investment is an combination of profits and loss, sometimes it can be profits and sometimes loss, but that doesn't mean that because of that risk we will never invest our money.

You can try to invest in a mining rig if that is profitable to you and the place you live in. Try mining altcoins and then trade them for bitcoin/fiat and then grab the profit.
Also you can invest some in affiliate marketing for spreading your referral links - its worth a try.
You can also try investing in casino bankrolls which is again very risky but good in the long term.

you can buy some big amount and hold it in the cold storage and keep it for long time as a long term investment and also while you are waiting you can do some smaller amount trading as a short term investment to make profit.

In my opinion, better for you to continue investing in the other coins in the exchange platform for you to grow your coins too faster. That's the best thing we can do for now. And trading in the different exchange is the heart of the bitcoin member in crypto world.

In any aspect of business whatever it is, risk is always a tail of it. Meaning each member in bitcoin world are totally risk taker since bitcoin is engaged in business technology. Therefore, if you can't take any risk here, well you shouldn't be here at all though like what they said you can't gain any profit in here if you are not a risk taker.

I think the person you are talking to were actually referring about investing in a dice site not betting on it. Gambling wouldn't take you somewhere but below were you currently are. It's very different from investing. I just hope that the person you are talking to wouldn't mind mentioning those "dice sites" that he invested in. Otherwise, I would think it's just another made up story. There's not that much legit gambling sites that you can invest to as we can observe.
