Nowadays the altcoin world is 99% scam. Most are dead coins going for pumps, or coins about to be dumped.

Sometimes in ICO, you can make a quick profit.

There are different alternatives. One of them is trading altcoins, if you have good experience, strategy and knowledge of the market, of course. You could also offer goods and services, to make some profit. It's important to stay away from the ponzi schemes, cloud mining, hyip sites and things related. Good luck with your investments.

As you noticed about the so called "cloud mining" scam sites, i suggest you stay away from investing in the other ponzi schemes which pop up every day. Try trading altcoins, or just hold your bitcoins for the price increasing

I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

For so many tips and advices that you can read on this section its up to where gonna start or what you gonna first. Though most of their tips are nice and good idea base on their experienced. Its really up to you dude, what decision that you'll have to make. Just all I can say do what  they gave you a tips of advices except in cloud mining and gambling site.

This also was a good idea of yours. Because I'm doing it too, actually its very effective as long as the ico is really potential. You can really earn btc and receive a bounty reward after the campaign period. Just do the rules accordingly that they have in the event, for you to avoid kickout in the campaign so that your effort will not goes into waste.

I don't know why people consider trading as gambling eventhough there are many people earning a lot of profits through trading everyday with their experience and knowledge... but people think that they are lucky that is why they earn profits.. but they are working at it and using their minds ofcourse luck plays a vital role in every step of life but that does not mean someone working wont get anything...

Right, plus me, I consider trading as gambling too. They are risky to lose partial or all money. And can be defined as "gambling", especially forex trading with leverage.

Only a small percentage of traders (and still less of wannabe traders) remain profitable in the long run. I don't know the exact statistics, but it is estimated that more than 90% of all traders are losing in the long term. Indeed, in gambling that figure is a lot higher (and a lot faster at that) and should be quite close to 100% minus those who hit a lucky strike and are prudent enough to call it a day...

So there is a lot of ground to justify such a comparison

Risk should be taken but in such a way where we still have an opportunity to make profits, and that is possible with trading and comparatively it is safer then hyips and ponzi sites.

Best is by far following trends on markets. Test by using only 1 mBTC, and if you're in profit after a week or so, then go gradually with higher amounts.

i also want to suggest that ICO is a good opportunity to increase your btc. but you need to research and find the trusted project for btc invest. otherwise your investment will stuck there for long time,like me. i invested in LIR and now i can only hope if i get back at least 50% of my investment

Problem with alts. Nothing new. It is risky so we should be ready with this. I also experienced a great lost when I am still new with this kind of thread. Like 75% of my invested money is gone thank God I pulled the remaining 25% or I'd be broke .

Proper information research is very important in altcoin, you cannot afford to blindly invest in any coin as many coins will be dead even in a single day.

I think this is making sense, investing in bitcoin is quite risky because when there are a lot scammer and to be honest you only investing through an internet, you dont know whether the company is real or not, i personally suggest you to invest in casino, search for the rank of the casino and see the casino user, if its meet your cotdition then go to invest

Well you should search for something before you make some investment because in investment you should know where your money trust with because some investment website are turning into scammy that fast , if you find some investment website inspect them so that you can earn profit everyday cloud mining is good too but some are scammy and if you don't sure about the investment try to learn about trading it can help you to grow your bitcoin fast , depends you are going to trade.
