Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Maybe try investing in a casino bankroll. The house edge will mean you always win and it's very rare that you lose money. I have investments in both just-dice and crypto-games and they seem to pay out a good return on your initial investment. Make sure to spread the investments over multiple sites.

That's right and our greedy nature will make us loose our money in long run, so its better to keep on earning in safe and steady way instead of going for a fast way to earn them.

People who got scammed in the past will never prefer to repeat that mistake again, in fact they will prefer to simply hold them for future and wait for the price rise as holding involves less risk in compare to investing.

I think invest on gambling sites like dice sites is really good, i know some dice sites that have a good investment. Once i get 10% interest in a week on that site.
Gambling is not profitable in the long run you need to avoid investing money on that, must good to do trading instead to gamble, most of the users do gambling is not to have profit is just for their fun and that is only for  rich people who have a lot of money for capital.
I think the person you are talking to were actually referring about investing in a dice site not betting on it. Gambling wouldn't take you somewhere but below were you currently are. It's very different from investing. I just hope that the person you are talking to wouldn't mind mentioning those "dice sites" that he invested in. Otherwise, I would think it's just another made up story. There's not that much legit gambling sites that you can invest to as we can observe.

Investing in dice sites seems to be a real deal. I don't know why madwica won't tell you in which sites he invests himself, but here are the top 5 sites considered to be legitimate and trustworthy among casinos that allow investing in their bankroll:

1) BetKing
2) MoneyPots
3) SafeDice
4) Crypto-Games
5) Satoshi Dice

You may also want to look through the Gambling section, it has a few actively discussed topics regarding this matter.

Altcoin trading and investing in your own busniess or maybe the stock market is good enough. However be careful of scam ponzi and doubler schemes which are all bound to steal your money. Just dont get greedy and dont put all your money in investment and do proper research before taking any step.

first of all moneypot has not been having any good days for their investors. there have been a period of downfall and a lot of losses for investors which is weird if you ask me

also investing in casino bankroll is not the best option and it never was. you can make profit but the profit is not that big to interest many of us. also the risks that this investment has are terribly high.

I've seen you posting something in the Bitcoin Gambling Investments thread, therefore you should be familiar with the up-to-date results of investing in these sites. You say that the profit is not that big for many of us. I won't ask how you found out that 16% ROI for two months is not big and for whom exactly (beside you), though I would still like to hear your opinion about other investment options which provide better profitability than that and are as easily available to the general public here.

What do you mean by investing in trading sites? Trading sites, as far as I understand it, are exchanges and exchangers, but I don't know any which would allow investing in them, though I may just happen to be unfamiliar or simply unaware of such an investment opportunity. So could you expand more on this matter? Besides, whether exchanges allow investing or not doesn't change the fact that they are still hacked or scam themselves occasionally. See recent Bitfinex hack or scam.

He means perhaps sites like my U2 system where you can invest for free.(this means you claim shares for free)
then you trade them for real satoshi.
if you believe that it is profitable to reinvest a part of your earning you can re-invest and sell later.

He mean to say that invest either in trading btc or altcoins from where you can generate profits, and if you keep on thinking of risk of getting hacked or scam then you will never make any profits.

Thinking  always  on negative  situations and  possibilities would  give you  nothing  but  it would be a big  hindrance to yourself  hence you are afraid  to risk and i  agree with you if  you keep your  mindset like that you wont earn  nothing  because   if your a risk taker you would definitely earn something.

Thank you for your consideration, but I would like to hear what SquallLeonhart himself is going to say on the matter he raised. Investing in "trading sites" is a far cry from trading as I see it. And trading itself is even a farther cry from making decent profits regularly, given that the majority of wannabe traders seem to be losing in the long run. Why would anyone want to use such a euphemism? Regarding taking risks, these are basically the same risks as those associated with investing into a casino bankroll, aren't they? But this is what I'm suggesting myself, aren't I?

If you don't understand the basic thing then who is going to explain you? Investing in trading sites itself implies that investing your bitcoins in different altcoin for trading, and if you find risk in investing in everything then you should not invest and its better for you to play safe.

Id you do not want to risk your money do not invest in bitcoin because all investments its includes the risk you only lessen the risk if you do multiple investment. Trading has a big risk but the potential to have income is there.

So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

If you mean investing that's like a passive income then you can try the lending section in the exchanges wherein you can earn interest but it is not that big compared to investing in other sites. You can also try trading but you need some analysis and strategy in order to gain some profit. In trading, experience would be the best teacher so if you wanted to gain some experience and avoid losing a big amount then you can start small and eventually you will gain your footing and then understand the market more and that would be the time to invest bigger amount. You can win big in trading but as well as lose big but if you know what you are doing then you can minimize the risk.

make you lose. so you have to be clever to create a strategy to always benefit in investing in gambling

Either you invest in gambling or gambling sites both involves huge risk of loosing money, so I will suggest you to invest  in trading sites where you can make descent profits regularly.
I don't think that both are same. Doing gambling directly with your coins is a much more risky thing that investing in gambling sites because house has always an edge over the players so chances of loosing your money is much higher in direct gambling your money or bitcoins.
