Quick intro.. Used to run a small 10GH mining operation us until about a year ago... I also traded btc/USD in IRC and on Mtgox. I ended up shutting down the mining operation when the pool I was in shutdown as they didn't have time to implement the p2sh changes. Since I had been running the rigs at loss for a number of months, due to high hosting and electricity costs, I used the pool shutting down as the prod I needed to mothball my miners. (Oh such a mistake in hindsight.)

I'm looking to get approved so I can post on the securities forums, and bid on securities auctions. I also have a premium two-letter dotcom domain that I want to gauge interest in someone buying with btc.

A quick whitelisting would be appreciated. I would like to be able to respond to some allegations as to my asset listing (Biz27B-6) on BitFunder.

Hello,

the reason that I want to be able to post before getting 5 posts and being online for 4 hours is because I have a serious question about the Bitcoin wallet.

I have bought some bitcoins 2 years ago, but in the meanwhile my wallet is deleted (by myself, by accident) from my Mac. Mtgox.com told me to go to this website because this is the place where technical experts could be able to help me (to recover my wallet).

If you can upgrade my account I would be very glad and post my problem at 'technical support'.

Thank you in advance.

i would also like to bypass the 5 post requirement...i'm sure i've long surpassed the 4-hour requirement.  i've been registered for quite some time, but never had the desire to post until recently.

Konsel, if you deleted your wallet.dat file, your wallet is gone, unless you can recover that file.  there are many software-based undelete programs available, but they only go so far.  the longer the file has been deleted, the less likely it is that you will be able to recover it.  however, if you have a significant value of bitcoins in that file, there are forensic experts that specialize in data recovery.  i have no idea how much that would cost, but it would be a lot, but if you have a million dollars worth of bitcoins in your wallet then that might be worth it!

Yes.....I'm a serious grown up person who would like to respond to Burnside another member of this forum. I already posted some factual information here about dummy plugs that will help people out. I like helping people out that's the type of guy I am.

whitelist please.

I've been mining BTC since last july and have a little single on order from BFL.  I recently stopped mining BTC as it is no longer profitable to GPU mine at my power cost.  I'm switching between LTC, TRC and PPC depending on which has the best profitability as listed on dustcoin.

Multipool - Always mine the most profitable coin - Scrypt, X11 or SHA-256!

If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie, or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. Try to be as specific as possible.

If you learned of Bitcoin through a currently established member of this forum who feels that you are ready to be released to the rest of the forum or who is willing to mentor you, or if you want to make a new account that is separate from your already-existing established forum account, have the existing user/account vouch for you after you have made your request.

If you are asking to be whitelisted because you are having a problem with something, we generally look more favorably on people who have already attempted to solve their issue in the Newbie board. Even if you end up not qualifying for preemptive whitelisting, your post might still qualify for being moved to another board if you have received insufficient help after a few hours.

Also:
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.

Hi guys,
I started reading about bitcoins about a month ago and am now doing mining since 2 days. I am also an active member of about 3 forums (under the same name) so I know my way around and don't spam. I would ruin my username.

I need to be out of here because I have installed the Peerbet Android app to beta test it. I have found a bug and would like to write it in the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144066.0

Thanks,
Maverik5124

Could I be let free from the noob cage if possible? I have spent the time/posted the posts. I am fairly new to bitcoin having been mining with little more than a toffee hammer and a light one at that (a gtx670 and a 550ti) for about 5 days now. I would love to be able to fully participate in this forum  Smiley

I'm one of the victims of the bitmarket.eu debacle and I don't really feel like posting misc. stuff in the newbie section…

Is it enough evidence to sign a message?

Okay this is bordering on the obsured.....1 hours and 27 minutes. All I want is to beable to help out a pool operator with information that I know. I've had this information for 3 days. It will help a good guy out; but, I can't post.

Why punish the many for the sake of a few?

Let me out of here.

Oh evidence:

I posted the truth about dummy plugs (not the misleading information already available).

I pointed out to a guy that the motherboard is generally the biggest problem when building a rig: because the mother board manufactureres take short cuts in the design of their PCI-E slots.

And finally I promise never to start a thread asking if anybody ever received white listing (thats a joke hope the moderators have more sense of humor then my banker)

Edit: If they actually read this thread.

PLEEEEASE let me out of the ONLY newbies list... I've been tweeting/retweeting posts from here for months, have just got a dude in Peru to accept BTC for ayahuasca retreats, am looking for airbnb'ers who'll accept bitcoin and I want to be able to post requests here plus let people know any discoveries I'm making.

To be honest, I'm not likely to post on the forum often. I really just need access to the anonibet.com thread. They've failed to grade bets from March third, and have failed to respond to multiple messages since that day(no more than one message every 2 days). I've tried contacting them through the support tab on their site, as well as both of their listed email addresses, to no avail. I feel by posting in the thread it could maybe entice a response, or at the very least, warn others of the shady practice. I've waited a week, and if need be, can wait for this as well. Thanks much BCT
