Could I please get whitelisted? I was hoping to get some input on how to invest company money in BTC in the Skandinavian forums.
Thanks!

I'm going to sleep in a minute so I can wait out the 4 hour limit, just posting in this thread for the heck of it.

Kindly requesting a whitelist. I'm here to post in the "bASIC BTC refunds list - v2.0" thread since I'm too still waiting for a refund. Or to post for me there if whitelisting isn't possible.
I already sent numerous unanswered emails to every associated address with the "bASIC operation". I have even given the option to pay me back with BTC (1AygWJZpFSJeMykfeVa4RVLMWuXPUk15Vw).
User: ashpool Order: #875431808574591 (It was originally an order for a FPGA miner which they forgot about and so I eventually (after I msg'ed them) got bumped up to a bASIC miner. I can produce the whole email conversation with them if necessary.) Paid in: USD via GoogleWallet Amount: $1,069.99 Date Requested: 02-06-2013 via GoogleWallet then on 03-05-2013 via Email(s) Location: DE Paid: none

I'm a long-time lurker and wish to make a suggestion in the development/technical discussion forum regarding transaction verification in bitcoin clients during forks. More specifically, taking the minimum verification count on all active forks (detected by some ratio of work proof from the fork point to the last known block compared to the main chain), and not considering any blocks past the fork point as verification if a major invalid fork is detected (in addition to warning and engaging safe mode.)

I've exceeded the post and time restrictions and would like to be let out of the sandbox if possible I'm working on a GPU rig for LiteCoin and wanted to post in the mining section. I'm a pretty level headed grown up and won't make a mess. Thanks!

Hello, I need to post to the topic about the Open Source FGPA Bitcoin Miner ( http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=9047.0) I have a De0-Nano in which the driver compiles fine and the card gets programmed without any error. However when I launch the miner I get 0.00Mh/s hashing speed (there is definitly something wrong here). There is a guy on this thread (kramble) who also speaks about this very FGPA and i would like to exchange some ideas with him on why I have that behaviour. Thank you.

Are any of these whitelist requests honored? Or is this just where people post to get 5 posts?

why not. this thread started in 2011. I'm doubting the whitelisting is still happening, but just in case... Either way it goes towards my post count so yay.

For real, I have nothing to say on this section. Would really love to chat in threads where I have something to contribute, instead of being "forced" to rattle on about this and that.

5 posts & 4 hours isn't really a big deal. I've learned an enormous amount about bitcoins in the last couple weeks since my curiosity turned obsession. I'm in love with the bitcoin protocol. I love what it represents and absolutely see the revolutionary potential the currency carries. Some would argue most of the problems around the world we're seeing unfold are rooted in the corruption of the Banking Cartel. The few elite that create debt & use it as a ball and chain to control countries, economies, entire populations. Fixing interest rates until they're impossible to pay, and in turn taking resources as a pay off. Next country, rinse, repeat. Anyway, the idea of a non centralized, unmanaged currency leaves little room for a monetary monopoly! While I love the protocol itself, I think I'm very attracted to the political statement every one of us are making using this currency.

Any chance of being whitelisted? I have a question about the economics of mining in the years to come when it's at the 12.5/6.25 rate. Essentially we're currently making around £700 per mined block but when all the halving occurs we will require significant transaction fees to support the cost of mining. For instance currently a block has typically around 200 transactions in, whilst they may be dealing with 30,000BTC most of that is change so guessing only 15,000 BTC is generally 'spent'. This means we'd need transaction fees of say 0.1% to allow this to remain viable yet I've only seen crazily small 0.0001% style fees applied currently... I'd like to run a poll on if would be still be using it if there was a 0.1% flat fee on all transactions or do they want it capped with a minimum amount or is there another solution?

I've been lurking here for a while and today I was reading the Mt.Gox wall observer thread and there was a link to a guy talking about bitcoin. I started formulating a reply but it got too big for the youtube comment section and since I had so much fun writing it I thought I'd post it in the thread. Guess I will have to post a bit and wait a while before doing that
