I just watched a BFL 60GH preorder sell for 17 grand on ebay. Unbelievable.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'd like to be white listed please. I've been lurking this board since I bought into bitcoin at $20/USD and turned my gaming room into a sauna. After a time away due to a lack of confidence, I've been revitalized by the positive press (mostly on the free talk live radio show).
I see a lot of issues cropping up in new LTC and BTC pools and being a software engineer, I'd like to help calm some of the panicked newbies and offer to lend a hand where possible.
Thanks!

I am kindly requesting to be whitelisted.
I have known about bitcoin for about 4 months. To date, my interaction with the bitcoin community has been through the bitcoin subreddits on reddit.com. Of course I also lurk on these forums for topics of particular interest to me, and today I have found a discussion to which I can provide meaningful contributions.
I am an owner of a handful of bitcoins, some of which I purchased to try out services being offered, some of which I purchased for the excitement of speculation, and some of which I have acquired through selling items on Bitmit.net.
I understand that my knowledge of bitcoin is incomplete. Every day I learn more about the technology, and I hope to someday be considered an expert on the aspects that I am most interested in.
While speculation is fun, if bitcoin were to fail rather than continue to grow, I would be more saddened by the loss of the opportunity to use the technology than by any personal loss of purchasing power. As an ebay powerseller, my primary interest in bitcoin lies in the ability to sell items through the bitcoin equivalent of ebay with comparatively negligible fees.
Thank you for reading. I suppose if this request has not been granted after this account has existed for four hours I will create four additional posts on topics that are not very interesting.

Dear Friends:
I am a Java developer with several decades of professional experience, and I want to chime in on a thread regarding the creation of an open-source decentralized Bitcoin exchange server.
I am new to Bitcoin, but I certainly know the ropes on open source software.
I'm definitely not a troll or bot.
Best regards, Old Mad Man

Hello everyone. I'm new here, but would like to post for help on gpuminer's support thread. It's mining successfully for me, but when I leave my computer it seems to fail and stop.

Been studying bitcoin for 3 months. First turned on to it from AVTM, yet to make a purchase as I have very little btc.
I am fairly familiar with forum rules. I've been on your forum obviously for those 3 months reading, learning. I'm not a big poster on any forum I am a member of, but the limit in this forum means I am unlikely to ever be much of a poster. I'll keep trying to find something worthwhile to respond to or ask in Newbie.

I request to be whitelisted.
The reason? I wish to post in the MarketPlace and also would like to send a PM to a forum member who might tell me how I can buy bitcoins using cash.
If you decide not to whitelist me, perhaps you could help send my PM to the forum member on my behalf? I would appreciate that too.

Hi there Please can I be whitelisted as I have an important post for https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.220 this thread. It gives evidence that these new Swedish ASIC producers are scammers and my post will give some damning evidence which I think they will have difficulty explaining. Thanks!

Alright with your lame rules I will add it here and someone will pick it up: This is an interesting one which I am little suspicious of. I am certainly interested in this sort of development but it is amazing how light-in-detail the proposals are. It does seem strange that so much is left for the forum user to try and substantiate Having had a look at your website I have had a look at the source code and one thing stands out as odd. You have a russian website tracker http://metrika.yandex.ru/Now this is very odd!! Your typical European would not choose do do their Web Analytics with a package the from Russia and written in Russian. Your average Swede does not speak Russian so why would you choose this over Google Analytics, Yahoo Analytics, Woopra etc etc which are free and global. Yandex.ru 'Worldwide' caters for: Belarus Kazakhstan Russia Turkey Ukraine Here is some information about Yandex from Wikipedia Yandex (Russian: Яндeкc) is a Russian Internet company which operates the largest search engine in Russia with about 60% market share in that country.[3] It also develops a number of Internet-based services and products. Yandex ranked as the 4th largest search engine worldwide, based on information from Comscore.com, with more than 150 million searches per day as of April 2012, and more than 50.5 million visitors (all company's services) daily as of February 2013.[4] The company's mission is to provide answers to any questions users have or think about (explicit or implicit).[5] Yandex also has a very large presence in Ukraine and Kazakhstan, holding nearly third of all searches in each country's individual market and nearly a half (43%) of all searches in Belarus.[6] The Yandex.ru home page has been rated as the most popular website in Russia.[7] Yandex attracts more than 56 million users from all over the world.[8] The web site also operates in Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Ukraine and Turkey.[9] Another company, Yandex Labs, is a wholly owned division of Yandex that is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. All very good if you are Russian probably not so good if you are from Stockholm. This literally does not make any sense whatsoever unless you are Russian posing as Swedish.

Well, not to offend you or anything, but I don't think this is much evidence at all. We don't know who created their website, they probably don't manage it themself. And it looks like Yandex is a worldwide company. I'm no experts on managing big websites so I can't say, but I'm thinking this ain't much to discredit them yet. Still worth posting, but I'd be careful when you say some evidence
