I have waited all day logged in and posted a number of times. Please let me out of newbie jail. I am a real person (see here https://twitter.com/zmillion) and am interested in contributing to discussion of alt coins and use of colored coins on top of btc and other decentralized payment networks. I don't know why it is taking longer than advertised to whitelist automatically, but am a little impatient.

Hello,

I'd like to be whitelisted. I've been following the Bitcoin movement since it began, and am excited that its now taking off. On the whole I struggle with the technical details, but would like to learn and have been putting my time in to learn. I'm a strong promoter of the ideas behind distributed, alternative currencies, and have been involved in similar projects in places I lived before (Missouri and Oregon). If I could be upgraded, it would be much appreciated. I feel very limited at the moment.

Cheers,
Mike

I have been using bitcoin for a while now, and want to start supporting ripple, but have nobody to send me XRP.  OpenCoin is giving away ripple to bitcoin users, but sadly I cannot reply to their post.  I'm not really sure how I'm suppose to demonstrate my knowledge of bit coin, it's a decentralized cryptocurrency, the first purchase using bitcoin was for a pizza, in the past few days bitcoins value has rocketed to 250$ before it dropped to around 60$ for a bit.  But yeah, I want to start using ripple.

Well,

I've been a member for a while at this point. Didn't check out the rules until recently. Came here to watch a thread originally about cracking bit coin wallets after a friend of mine lost his password. (He ended up figuring it out after about 4 months). But came back here to discuss ripple.com a creation by one of the guys who works with mtgox. Also to follow up with ASICMINER and btct.co possibly looking into buying into the investment over there. Other than that I dunno. I've invested in bitcoins for a while but never really cashed out. Used them here and there mostly novelty trading with friends for random things.

Hope this gets me on the fast track to the whitelist!

Thanks,

-HA

If it needs my patience of being logged in now that I finally decided to create an account (was no need to do it in the past, everything I needed to read I could without account) - so be it. But maybe you can let me out of Newbie mode earlier, it feels weird, I'm too old and BitCoinish Smiley Anyway, will see, you are doing a great job.

David (yes, my real name, luckily a common name many others have, so I'm happy to use it Smiley )

I am spaniard, and I am not so fluent in english,. I've posted a bit in this forum, and understood something, but technical details are very difficult for me in english. I would really want to post in the Spanish Subforum. I have 5 post made and almost 3 hours logged in.

If you don't get me permission, thanks anyway  Tongue I will wait... Grin

Kind regards.

Please get me out of the newbe area.

I already read everything I can about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for 1 week already.

But my first contact with bitcoins was already in 2011 or 2010 (dont remember anymore exactly).
I saw potential in that idea but I was to lazy and had no time to go through the details, so I didnt won
some money of that :/

Now with the new hype I heart again of bitcoin and I start to read everything I can about it.

I am already mining LTC for 5 days and I want to try to buy now after the crash some bitcoins on BTC-E or MtGox.
The biggest problem there is to get some money up on the sites. But I think OKPay is a good possibility there.

In short-term I dont know what happen with the bitcoin the next days. But I am sure that with increasing popularity the
bitcoin should rise in price and that would be a good oportunity to buy some in the next days if the situation calms down.

So far... let me out to "spam" other areas Wink

Frankly, I like newbies section. I wouldn't expect that much. But hey I want to get out of here to join hot topics like ASICs or mining pools. I promise will never say anything dumb. I'll stick to topics, no chit chat on serious discussions. In other words, I won't troll.

Looking to buy a verified betfair account with escrow.

Hello all.

So I've been mining BTC for over a year, and have been lurking here for a while. I saw the ripple givaway and well got a little pissed that I hadn't registered earlier. Anyway, I'm actually interested in stimulating the BTC economy by selling some computer hardware on the selling forum instead of flea-baying it.

I'm also listed on localbitcoins.com, and I am trying to sell at 0% commission for a while to get some BTC circulating around me. I've even thought of contacting some local headshops and encouraging them to set up bitcoin payments, but the recent crash has scared me a bit from doing that! Right now I'm mining LTC at 600 Kh/s, and holding them to exchange for BTC later possibly.

So I'm a miner and early adopter, please get me out of here!

Cheers from Warwickshire, England.

hey there, requesting to be whitelisted

i started mining when bitcoin was quite new and 1 Btc was worth like nothing and hash rates on your single gpu were a joke compared to nowadays hashrates.
with the late upswing in btc eco many are trying to get back into to game, so am i.

Been closely watching the BFL story here, as in the whole variety of threads (scam accusation/yaysayers/naysayers/reasonable people/investigating people etc)

also i am curios about how asics will influence bitcoin - if they hit the light of day sometime soon

i am currently mining with my 6950 flex unlocked shaders bfgminer kernel:poclbm Gpu: 62.0 C  F: 62%   E: 840 MHz  M: 1325 MHz ~470-485Mhash/s
and a                                6970M bfgminer kernel: diablo Gpu: 67.5 C  F: 55%   E: 710 MHz  M: 1100 MHz ~215Mhash/s
pooling at deepbit.net

greetings & thanks in advance

Jeto
