Teenagers shouldn't be hard to explain to, if they have interest in these kinds of things though (The same for adults, you wouldn't get anything if they have no interest in technology or payment systems)
Children would be difficult to explain to if they are particularly young IMO.
Those kids an easily understand bitcoin because there is some few application for our device like smartphone that pays in bitcoin so if you want to make their interests into bitcoin then you should try those mini-game application and then while they are enjoying the game then try to explain what is bitcoin like telling them that it is just an internet money where you will use it as a normal money.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

explain to teenagers yes but i don't think you should start explaining bitcoin to kids before explaining to them how money works and what money really is Smiley

but in general i think using a video is the easiest way you can explain bitcoin to anybody at any age. and youtube is filled with videos and some of them are actually good.

Yes! First you need to ecplain to the children how money works and earn so that if you explain the bitcoin to them, they would easily know how it woks. In teenager, it is very easy because we all know that the maturity of teenager is better than the children. Explain to them on how it works and where to get or earn bitcoin and what are the good ways to earn it. Smiley

Yeah, I think of a child (especially little child) must be given advance understanding of the concept of money. If a child can not understand what is the meaning of "money" then I suggest not to introduce bitcoin beforehand because it becomes a tricky thing for a child. And I think even though a child could understand the money is not yet time to use bitcoin because I think a little ridiculous. But if it is under the supervision of parents I guess it's okay.

For teenagers menjeleskan bitcoin will be a little easier especially at this time every teenager would have to have a gadget that is connected to the Internet. Which will facilitate them in finding information on the Internet related to bitcoin. But I suggest to tell them a trusted website like this forum, to avoid things that are not desirable. Thank you

I think we can start explain bitcoin by tell them that bitcoin is like other international currencies dollar, euro and many else. They will understand and you explain more about bitcoin.
do you think that it is necessary to teach them about bitcoin? to me i think we do not need to teach to our teenagers to learn about bitcoin because in currency time bitcoin is use as investment and not as currency.

I don't think so.
In fact, I really think that teenagers or children can understand Bitcoin much better than older generation.
They are born in digital age, with Internet and they are very open for the new technologies, ideas and projects.
Also, they learn much faster than elderly people and I really don't think they will need much explanation about Bitcoin.
As soon as they see benefits of Bitcoin, they will adapt it.
I don't worry about this point at all.

I absolutely agree with you. It's much more difficult to explain Bitcoin to older generation

First thing you should consider when you want to explain to children is to know if they are interested on what you are going to explain. Because if a children is interested on it, you can easily explain it to him. So if you're going to explain it sure if that children is very interested on it. But in teenager it is very easy to explain than the children. Because the maturity of teenager than the children is very different.

children doesn't need to know about currency, but teenagers does, and i think there's so many explanation video in youtube so don't wasting effort wasting your time when you can just give them about the link of video so they can learn from it,whether they will be interested or not,it's definitely depend on them
You have a point there's no reason for children to know about bitcoin because they all know is to play.  But teenagers are different from childen, teenagers are more matured and they have much experience. Teenagers also have expenses to prioritize so that they need to know about it. You don't need to explain to them how it works because there are many videos in youtube about bitcoin.

For a teenager there is a very great incentive to study bitcoin, this is a real prospect of financial independence from parents. Now teenagers and so very much use the Internet for earnings, and bitcoin will increase their chances of success.

Internet and using computers or different devices is very common for teenagers because it is part of their lifestyle and using it properly can help them to understand bitcoin well and if they continue using it for doing studies about bitcoin then there is no doubt  that it will help them to get higher chance of earning bitcoin while children can stick to using mobile applications because it is more like game to them.

It's very easy to explain bitcoin to teenagers and children. We know that these ages will surely be encourage with the word "money", Just tell them that bitcoin is money and for real they can get good money if they are going to focus from it. Also tell them that if they will start to earn bitcoin it can help them financially.

Teenagers shouldn't be hard to explain to, if they have interest in these kinds of things though (The same for adults, you wouldn't get anything if they have no interest in technology or payment systems)
Children would be difficult to explain to if they are particularly young IMO.

I think teenagers can already understand about what is bitcoin, function of bitcoin, etc but they will not know about the block size, etc
so I think it tell them about the basic and excess bitcoin

It totally depends on region/area of your residence. I can only use Bitcoin for online services and to buy from local shops, I need to convert it. So basically it is being considered as Investment.

According my opinion, the easiest way to introduce the bitcoin to teenagers or children is by writing a blog or follow the account associated with the bitcoin. We all know that teens really like with social media so that promotion with social media is very effective.

What did I just read? What's with all the "teenagers are too young to learn bitcoins" in this place? Look up at Youtube and search for young millionaires. You'll see how much potential a teenager actually has. Age has nothing to do with all of these. Knowledge is attainable at any point in life. Even little kids can be knowledgeable although it's in a different degree.

By the way, bitcoin is definitely used as a currency. Otherwise, then what are we all doing here. Most people treat bitcoin as an investment but in reality, they can actually use bitcoin to pay for their bills, to buy a coffee, and purchase items online.

This is probably true but it really depend on the teenager and hist parents. I think parents should involved kids or teenager on the families financial goals. It doesn't mean that their children will stop want they are enjoying. At least they should be more accountable for the money being spent. So in this sense, if the children know how to budget allowances, then you can inject bitcoin in to your discussion and can explain the benefits and satisfaction of earning their own money through bitcoin and this will lead to their financial freedoms from their parents.
