Bittrex now have the swap funds and the swap/market will be complete/live within 24-48 hours.

(Dontigua, it was never a memory leak issue, the DNSSeeder was wrongly configured and was driving up CPU usage)

Hello everyone.  I'm Matthew Langdon the System Admin and Weaver Developer for Silk Network.  I wanted to answer a few questions and also post some news on what's happening with Weaver.

First things first, if you have deposited any Silkcoin to the address you were provided in your account and it is not showing in our transactions records, please be patient, we have your coins and they are safe and yes I did receive your transaction(s).

Next thing, for the users who have deposited their coins and they have not been swapped over yet, we are currently reviewing the transactions. Some of you have already been cleared and will be receiving your swaps on the next transaction update.

Over the next week  the system will be changing to a automated system.  Transactions will be moving quicker this week even while we process them manually.  You can expect the site to be down at least once daily for the updates.  The BTC ICO wallet will be opening up in user dashboards as well.  This wallet is ONLY for users who wish to participate in the ICO.  Any BTC sent to this address will be removed daily to the ICO copay address for security.

The site is coming down @ 2am EST for about 4-6 hours. I will be working on the transaction scripts. I'm sorry transactions scripts are late but Weaver's security is my number one priority.  If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

I've noticed Silk wallet for Win64 has a fixed CPU usage: always 25%
It's good it does not consume too much RAM (less than 60MB), but CPU usage is a bit high.

Anybody can help? Anybody has a different experience?

Try deleting your peers.dat and restarting your wallet.

Thanks that information fixed my 25% cpu usage.

I believe you may be in the payout queue.  Settling down here at home with the kids getting them ready for bed and then I'll check and run it to get you the coins.

As for everyone else, I am working on getting all the Silk swapped.  I worked 14 hours yesterday testing and fixing issues and I will be doing the same tonight.  I'd say last night 2/3 of what I needed to get done is done.

Weaver will come offline at 12:01AM EST (Eastern Standard Time) for approx. 4 hours.

https://silkexplorer.silknetwork.org/address/BTiKRHEHLMbeDxhMV9sAKe8Tcb4aoXi4Dy shows your balance, the balance on Bittrex should be the same. After Your coins have been swapped to Silk(SLK) you are free to withdraw them from the exchange.

You don't need a conf file anymore. Save wallet.dat file from roaming folder and then do a fresh install of wallet. It will take ~5 minutes to get first connection, but after that you are golden.

I also saw that I don't have any silk related wallet anymore on bittrex. No sc, no slk. This is good as this means swap is under way. I am very excited!

We will have to look into this once the first phase of swaps are completed and the Bittrex market is brought online.

Once this is done we will look into the txid, the originating address, time of transfer and talk to Bittrex.

Please bear with us on this.

If any of you have staked before and used a Proof of Stake coin, we are sure you have seen transactions in your wallet with a "!" marked against it. This is what is called a conflicted transaction and is caused when someone else found a PoS block around the same time as you and theirs got confirmed, but yours didn't.Now if any of you used the old Silkcoin wallet, we are pretty confident you have seen these and probably had quite a few.

Well, now, in Silk you can simply clean these from the wallet. Go to "Wallet Repair" and then click on "Recover Transactions 1", your wallet will restart and be rid of all conflicts but will retain all your metadata for the addresses i.e. names in address books etc. Cheesy
