Will there be a change in units as byteball grows? Displaying the price of 1gb might look odd when it's worth more than 2000d$ for example.
There is an option in the wallet to display GB, MB, or Kb, same for black bytes

This can already be done in the wallet. Go to settings -> Unit for bytes You have the option of bytes, kB, MB, GB Right under that is the ability to do that for Blackbytes as well.

There is an option in the wallet to display GB, MB, or Kb, same for black bytes This depends on the exchanges and coinmarketcap itself. But I think it helps keep inexperienced investors away.

The standard monthly Full Moon people dumping their free coins for money. The same people that come back weeks later and wish they kept everything as the price exceeds the prior months distribution.

Gbyte to Mbyte should be ok. 1Gbyte will be too big in the future.

They have full supply, that's why the marketcap is so high. Right now, a much higher market capitalization for Byteball probably would not be a good idea, because the price would crash and probably not recover after each distribution phase.

Just read the thread, pathetic attempts at FUD by iota dev, baseless accusations, fundamental mistakes. Iota will never work for IoT, within IoT PoW cannot be done. Its price is inflated by marketing, just like Bancor and other ICOs. Thats all there is about iota, very good marketing, people want IoT, its in the name, its buzzword. But I am in IoT company, iota will never be used on actual things, on actual microcontrollers.

Byteball and Iota are much different. People naively think they are comparable because they both use DAG. Iota is ready for IOT use, byteball is not. Byteball relies on trust based witnesses. This can be good for government compliance but it is definitely not good for a crypto. As far as I know, everything revolves around a few trusted nodes, right? Maybe on top of something more decentralized, byteball tech can be useful.

what happened? byteball should be top10 soon!Take it easy. Market cap for any coin is virtual someway as the whole supply of that coin can not be paid for the current price. Price is in inverse proportion to the single buy volume. In other words no entity will pay the current price for the whole supply.

As far as I know, everything revolves around a few trusted nodes, right? Iota is not ready for IoT and wont ever be, an IoT cant do the Prof of Work required to send transactions, iota devs talked about letting another trusted node do the transacting, duh, any coin can do that. They had this dumb idea of making a Jinn coprocessor, like hey just add another microcontroller on your microcontroller to have "zero fee" transactions. Byteball can and has been ported as a light client to an IoT chip, something iota devs hadnt even heard of they think a raspberry pi or smartphone is an iot device. What Byteball can learn from iota is marketing, getting nice words from Big Names, signing partnerships and paying for it by premine/presale of the tokens, just like any other ICO. The witnesses dont have to be trusted individually, only to not conspire together, if they do the worst they can do is stall the network.

Great! Does it mean that Byteball team is already in negotiation with IoT producers?

Are there transactionsfees in Byteball?
How many nodes are there?
What is the incentive for running a node?
Is there inflation? I assume there is not.
In my wallet I can see something that is called blackbytes. What is the difference between blackbytes and normal bytes?

You don't have to buy a whole GByte, just like you don't have to buy a whole Bitcoin.
