Why is the official short of Byteball GBYTE? Wouldn't it be better to choose a smaller unit like MBYTE, would it?
I think it would also attract more investors ( especially beginners in crypto domain ) if they do not need to buy 1 GBYTE for around $300 but 1 MBYTE for $0.30. It is a physiological thing.

Which is the best way to install the wallet on different devices - different computers and perhaps mobile, sharing the same account?

go add-wallet->multidevice-wallet
You can choose a multidevice-wallet that requires a signature from every devices if you're looking for maximum security, or a multidevice-wallet that requires only one signature from any device if you want an easy wallet for small expenses.

Thanks for the help, but I've tried to do that but the most I could achieve is to pair the devices which now allows me to chat between my laptop and my phone which I couldn't care less. My bytes still appear only on one device.
It's a real shame that in such a nice project there are no instruction on how to use the wallets. You can't even experiment too much with the wallet full of bytes, risking to lose the coins if you make mistakes. Am I the only one having this problem?

Now that your devices are paired, you create the multidevice-wallet and you transfer bytes from your current single-wallet to your multidevice-wallet (a device can have multiple wallets that you select in hamburger menu). Then you bytes will appear on both devices.

The richest address is tonych's.
#2 has linked 3HsSR84zReeBt5fTMESWJ2y18pMo5gz2Sq (Balance: ).
Yes, the guy who owns $22 million gets most benefits from the way Bytecoin is distributed, just like a rich guy can buy more of anything else too.

Yes, I also think MByte would be better for now.
You can set the unit to use in your wallet. Just like my Bitcoin Core is set to mBTC instead of Bitcoin.
You can't change what Bittrex.com uses, for obvious reasons.

Byteball needs to keep a decent capitalization to not be attacked by spamming. By distributing according to richness, you make sure that people can afford to hold the bytes you give them.

I suggest you participate in MINEREUM since you like their distribution scheme and you not participate in BYTEBALL since their distribution scheme is so really disgusting.  Don't let the door slam you in the butt on the way out.

When 100.000 coins will be dropped to first 100.000 users?

And if how to participate? Is just enough to download wallet? What is the count until today?

I asked this on slack but would like to ask again here:

Tony, how do you see whales and exchanges linking wallets to get free Gbytes?
Many greedy xchange operators will use Gbyte to just make more money by linking wallets of own exhanges.

What about whales? Last give away we seen nearly 200k btc linked. i seen myself few position 100btc + like one after another. Do you have mechanism to recognise wallets of exchange? If so are you still allowing to receive free bytes?

I've wondered this as well, from my understanding they did blacklist all of the well known exchange/ico addresses... I always wanted to ask what's stopping these people from movinvg their coins to different addresses? Of course, if people have a loophole to take advantage of, they will.

If exchanges move their customers BTC from wallets, the customers have far bigger problems then missing free byteball..

Other than that, tony has heuristics to detect exchange addresses (number of transactions).

BTC whales get a lot of Bytes, that is true.

Contrary to popular opinion, having most of the market cap in the hands of richest people is better than having it in the hands of poor people/speculators. Yes, some of them could just dump all their assets just for fun if they wanted.... but most of the time you don't get rich by doing dumb stuff like that.

If max allowed amount in one address - wallet was xxx btc than many of whales would have to create more new wallets and move coins there. much more easy to spot tricksters.

We have progress and most likely more give away should carry less Gbytes for btc holders. More for Gbyte holders, that way market is wake up and price going to moon.

Also more awarness thanks to that. More people have to use Gbyte software to get freebie
