Usually after snapshot how long does it take for the GB and GBB to appear in the Byteball wallet??
A few hours for GB, maybe a day or more for GBB. Thanks for your kind reply.  |

Panic? Absolutely not, it makes it easier for me to get my hands on it now After that, it slowly goes up again. Yesterday the price in dollars was about the same as it was a month earlier, in Bitcoin it was about 10% higher (aka Bitcoin was worth less). So far it recovered quickly each month. Bigger than what I'm seeing now? Woohoo, can't wait. Gonna try and get myself some bytes!  |

Anybody else find that odd, creepy, and completely at odds with any notion of anonymity?
Why do this? I do not understand at all.
What are you talking about?  Somehow I previously ended up on a page where the airdrop instructions included uploading a picture holding your passport. Not able to get back to it now and I don't see it on the official page. My guess is someone was trying to take advantage of the airdrop to go phishing. Apologies to teh Byteball. |

It's standard strategy by bigger fishes, dump right after the snapshot and set buy orders 10-20% below the dump average, this happened many times but it's quite risky, if you wait till you receive your new coins and then sell it, you're already too late and risk buying it back higher. These fast dumps must be from the inside of bittrex, as far as I know, if a regular person keeps BB on the exchange there is no 20% bonus from the giveaway (because you don't own your privkey) but bittrex employees do own their keys.

Wow WTF is up with the price?! Major dump on Bittrex!
Pretty obvious that people are taking profit before the airdrop because the airdrop will cause 20% drop in price or more. |

Tried to send GB to my Wallet from Bittrex 5hrs before the snapshot. Withdraw pending for 5hrs and still going. Caused me to miss airdrop and the price dumps. WTF... Are they freezing withdraws so they can get my portion of the airdrop? What kind of Bullshit is this...

I think this is some kind of trick from Bittrex. They wanna the free bytes for themself and locked the wallet.
This is not possible anymore as tony put cap on wallets with x amount of tx coming and going within time frame set by dev. The cap is only for wallets linked using a BTC transaction. |

was it a large amount ? No just an additional GB I bought to get in on the airdrop. I didn't mean to insinuate that they're doing it to me specifically, but are they doing this in general to get more GB. I don't see why it's taking over 5hrs to send to wallet...I've never had any withdraw from them take that long regardless of the coin. |

how is the rest of byteballs going to be distributed after it's obvious that another round would make us go over 1 million? is the ratio going to change accordingly to the btc linked and byteballs remaining or is there going to be a completely different way?
