We love getting to know our players on a personal level, and dailydose1 has been a staff favorite for years. Anyone who has gotten to spend time with him in the forum and player chat will likely back this up, as well. His sense of humor emanates through his text and you can't help but smile when he is around. We got a chance to speak to him and learn a little bit more about what just makes him tick.
How long have you been playing at Betcoin and how did you find out about us?Gosh, it feels like it has been forever playing here, haha. I think I have been playing at Betcoin for about 3 years now. It must have been at least that because I have seen this site grow and add so many new features. I learned about Betcoin from the SBR forum. I used to mine Ethereum (among many other coins) and was looking for a site that I could send some of my mined coins to play with. Looking at all the options for crypto books and playing on some of them, it became clear very quickly this was the book to be at.
What are your favorite things to wager on?I wager almost exclusively on live sports. The only sports I bet on are tennis, NFL, NHL and sometimes baseball. I love live wagering on tennis and I think it provides tremendous value. For instance, the Nadal match for the championship was incredible. Watching the match it was clearly evident there was zero chances that Nadal could lose that match. The odds were 1.11 when I bet but hey I'll take 10 percent earnings any day. I think I bet .250 BTC on it and won .026 which is about 200 dollars. Free money.
Then I bet on the Bruins and I thought there was no chance I wouldn't win that game. They were fired up after that terrible missed call the previous game. So I pre-bet that game, then they scored the first goal and I live bet them at odds of 1.45. Again easy money. They won and I almost doubled up on that one game. My only regret is not having more money to bet with on that game, haha.
This morning I have been live betting tennis matches. I really like challenge tennis. Everyone is trying to prove themselves and the games are so exciting. For this reason I love betting on first game match totals. With everyone trying so hard I love betting the first set to go over 9.5 games. My game that I did this on was Ward vs. Napolitono....again easy money.
Do I win all my games? Not even close. I go on huge swings and huge falls but I love it. I try the best I can, and I have never been let down by Betcoin. They have by far the most things and choices for things to bet on.
Tell us about your biggest win at BetcoinOh boy, I think my biggest win on Betcoin was for 1.7btc. I think this was in the casino on Alkemor's Tower...and it was on the recommendation of another player. It was perfect timing because at the time I was out on disability (broke my femur) and getting married. My wife and I were looking at buying a house too. So I used this money to help secure a mortgage on the house. It was insanely good timing. The craziest thing about this was that it was paid out the same day with no hesitations at all. I was shocked and super happy with the withdrawals
My biggest sports bet win might have been the Bruins game I talked about earlier. I think I took home a profit of 3750 usd on that game. It might have been a little more. There was zero doubt that the Bruins would win. But, boy was i nervous the entire game. My entire bankroll was on this one game....and it was a significant amount of money. BUT THE OUTCOME WAS EXACTLY AS EXPECTED and I AM A WINNER! Watching them get ahead with that first goal was such a relief let me tell you, haha. This I used to pay off the last of my student loans! What a relief and again the payout on this was instant. What a positive experience.
Besides gaming, what is your involvement with cryptocurrencies?As I mentioned earlier, I mined Ethereum, as well as Electroneum, DASH, and some BTC. Each of these coins has their own value. For instance, the flexibility to Eethereum is driving its growth and adoption in many places that bitcoin simply cant compete. Just look at how those pet things on the Ethereum network exploded. I am also interested to see how they finally get the proof of stake going, versus proof of work. I do some work in blockchain development here and there for small companies.
Where do you see digital currencies headed in the long-term?Cyrptocurrencies are the future. The flexibility, uses and ease of sending money are growing everyday. The amount of transactions going on all over the world is insane. It gives so much more control to the average person, than say using a bank. The hard part, and I still think its hard, is getting the everyday person to use them. Its hard to get someone to sign up to an online website, give all their personal information, then put in their bank account, then pay, then 3-5 days later get their currency. Then they use it but they have to pay taxes on it if it goes up in value and they have to sell it. Which costs a fee. So i think until its accepted all over and easier to get into and out of it will become stagnant. These are issues that can be solved though!

There has been times my deposit has been delayed and I have been credited for this deposit because it clearly showed on the blockchain and either Betcoin or someone was having an issue. Withdrawals: Instant, well maybe not instant but certainly not very long. I used to hate having to wait 24+ hours to get my withdrawals. Another thing I like is you can withdraw via any coin you want. I love this as there has been times I have though that LTC would go up so I withdrew via that and got the price increase then sold.
