People don't need drugs to do what they want. If they harm others, there are the courts.

If we made strict punishments for harming others, people would either become responsible, or they would be in prison, or they would be executed. There is no reason to punish those who have harmed nobody, like current drug laws do.

The same can be said about alcohol and tobacco as well. I know a lot of individuals, who got ruined (both financially as well as physically) as a result of their alcoholism. Addiction is bad with any substance. But using once in a while should not be a problem.

Alcohol and tobacco are recreational drug use.
And you see how fucked up especially the alcoholics are.
The smokers luckily only die from cancer or other diseases (caused by tobacco) - but that cost the taxpayer money in form of medical aid (millions of $ per 1 smoker).

Consequently today we have a situation where 12 year old kids already drink alcohol and smoke.

First time i got pissed off alcohol was when i was 5 years old ..
I drank some from the fridge it was CIDER and it was nice ..
My father seen me drink it so he made me drink many more cups of cider till i was SICK DRUNK..

Oh boy was i sick..
Later on in life i started to have a drink but it always made me feel sick EVEN the smell of ale
makes me want to vomit..

So i was wondering CRIPTIX do you think my parent was an ASS HOLE making me drink that at 5 years old or NOT ..

Because i would never get my child PISSED AT 5 ..
i would be thinking it's my stupid fault for putting it in the fridge for a 5 year old to get hold of..

Oh and once sucked on a razor blade 4 times i took bottles of medicines laying around ..

And one time i took these tablets me mother was on i was only 6 i ended up seeing things that was not even there..

NOW I smoke lots of weed ..BUT NONE OF MY CHILDREN SMOKE ..Or drink well the oldest as a drink now and then but no big drinker ..

I think because we have never let our children run about on the street to pick up naughty things off the streets..Smoking drinking kissing the girls at 12 and fingering them ..

So my thinking about drugs and drink is
KEEP YOUR CHILDREN OFF THE STREET ..So less chance of them doing drugs and smoking and drinking..

PUT THEM IN A CLUB..Doing something rather than smoking..

Yes to the poor i understand about paying for these clubs..
They shut many a club where i live ..GYMNASTICS clubs closed all where i live no government funding anymore..

My child was in gymnastics and ju jitsu NOW only ju jitsu because our greedy politicians want the world CRAZY..

I agree with that opinion. There is no harm in allowing personal use of recreational drugs. If you ban them, then people will be forced to purchase them from the street gangs, and this will result in an increase in the crime rate.

But i think using drugs affect every person around the user, whether intentionally or not, drug abuse is one of the reason why people commit crimes. Violence, Wild mood swings, depression, anxiety, paranoia etc. are the effects of drug addiction do you think having those effects you can still think straight not to harm people around you? I think it is better to stay away from drugs.

Should be accepted but penalties for committing crimes after using them should be punished way more than if a crime was committed without using drugs. The drug lords would become tax payers and it will improve the economy and federal budget

Anyone against the legalization of all drugs is a complete moron.

Not because it's obvious that legalization is better, simply because one country did legalize all drugs to consumption 15 years ago: that's Portugal and it has never had so few problems with drugs than since the lagalization.

I do not know about how will I feel after taking drugs but the subject here is the recreational drug.  Best example would be the benefits of marijuana especially for epileptic people.  It gradually decreases the attack of epilepsy and other diseases.  It also being learned for its benefit with fighting cancer cells.

In fact, I have a very negative attitude towards drugs and other means of psychological influence on people. Yes. Some people use these drugs to get rid of fatigue, and most of these drugs don't have serious side effects. They just act as stimulants, just like energy drinks such as Monster and Red Bull. It will be better to regulate, than banning all of them.

Have you tried using marijuana? I think it's just the abuse that makes it so consistently used because it definitely has medical benefits. Too much of it would create more evil things, being high is something that you shouldn't always do because it could lead to something that you would regret in your life. I agree with you.

Marijuana addiction is generally rare and less serious when compared to the addiction to the hard drugs (such as methamphetamine and heroin). Also, the side effects are much milder. The marijuana addiction is comparable to addiction to tobacco and alcohol. It can be treated easily, if the individual is having strong will power.

We are talking only about the recreational drugs. Perhaps you are mentioning about life saving drugs in the second part of your post. Both of them are different. And recreational drugs in general doesn't have any medical benefits.
