Drug Free Australia has cited the Netherlands as an example of drug policy failure because it is soft in approach. According to Barry McCaffrey of the US Office of National Drug Control Policy, Dutch tolerance has allowed the Netherlands to become a criminal epicentre for illicit synthetic drug manufacture, particularly ecstasy, as well as the home for production and worldwide export of strains of cannabis with THC reportedly 10 times higher than normal. Gil Kerlikowske has attested that, where there were once thousands of cannabis cafés there are now only several hundred. Levels of cannabis use, in 2005 only marginally higher than in 1998, while other European countries have accelerated past them, are more likely, Drug Free Australia argues, the result of a growing intolerance of cannabis in the Netherlands rather than a growing tolerance. Drug Free Australia has also argued that British reductions in cannabis use after softer legislation may be more so the result of heavy UK media exposure of the stronger evidence of links between cannabis and psychosis.

Mexico Just Legalized Medical Pot Nationwide Exposing America's Oppression

As a growing number of individual states in the U.S. stand up to the federal government on marijuana prohibition, Mexico legalized medical marijuana nationwide on Monday.

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto issued a decree, following the bill's overwhelming approval from Mexico's Senate in December, with a vote of 98-7, and from Mexico's Lower House of Congress in April, with a vote of 374-7 vote.

The decree stated that the nation's Ministry of Health would be in charge of "public policies regulating the medicinal use of pharmacological derivatives of cannabis sativa, indica and Americana or marijuana, including tetrahydrocannabinol, its isomers and stereochemical variants, as well as how to regulate the research and national production of them."

The measure was also applauded by Mexico's Secretary of Health, Dr. José Narro Robles. "I welcome the approval of the therapeutic use of cannabis in Mexico," he wrote on Twitter.

I think the marijuana is the only recreational drug that actually has benefits.
It sucks that people misuse it and that's why it can't pass even for medicinal use. Keep in mind, though, that there are negative effects of smoking too much pot or using it for non-medicinal purposes. When overused or abused, pot can lead to dependency and mess with your memory and emotions.

Have you tried using marijuana? I think it's just the abuse that makes it so consistently used because it definitely has medical benefits. Too much of it would create more evil things, being high is something that you shouldn't always do because it could lead to something that you would regret in your life. I agree with you.

There is no amount of cannabis that would cause "evil things".  It's not something that creates aggression for people that are not aggressive.  You'll almost never see a pothead getting into an altercation, whereas you will with alcohol, yet too much alcohol seems to be fine, and legal.

What does it mean to "abuse" cannabis?  To smoke or eat "too much"?  Those effects may include hunger, laughing, dry eyes, dry mouth, paranoia, increased sensitivity of senses, fatigue, etc.  Aggression is not a side effect.  You ever see a pothead get into a fight?  Meth is a stimulant which is a completely different class of drug.  Do some research    It will be a lot different than what your school and government has told you.

The only real danger of smoking weed is that you can go to jail from it.

Can you provide some sources for this outrageous claim? I have never heard about anyone getting brain damage from the consumption of Marijuana. If that actually happened, then the other ingredients present in the drug might have caused it.

There are also many ways to ingest cannabis.  Smoking, vaping, edibles, etc.  Using a vaporizer and eating edibles will not affect your throat at all.

Don't do drugs . Never and ever caught up in doing drugs. It kills your entire body and your soul. Drugs give enjoyment at the begining of doing them but as  time goes on, you are getting agitated , nervous and angry . people can harm their beloved ones when they are high.In a nutshell, drugs dont make you happy but feel horrible .

That's where things start to get interesting.  If you're becoming paranoid, just focus your awareness on your breath next time, and ensure that you're not taking short and shallow breaths.  Longer and deeper breaths will help out.  Then if you're interested, you can revisit and see what was causing your paranoia in the first place

As you can see in the subject, what is your opinion on a recreational use of drugs? So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What is your opinion on that and is it the same at your place?

I think it is pretty popular in America where teenagers are getting wasted, faking cards so they can buy drinks and stuffs. But I think doing drugs is taking the "let's get have some fun" line so far. I mean, how do they really make fun? Because from the line itself, it is not the full way of having fun for them.

Thats not true, because sustained cannabis use with individuals under 25 there are loose links that it causes schizophrenia which depending on the time period(100+years ago) would be labeled as someone seeing or hearing evil thoughts.
