What I meant by "There's nothing really bad about it in itself" is that people are free to ruin and do what they want in their life. They have that freedom to make their own decisions whether good or bad. I did not mean that there's nothing wrong with drugs. There is, it can cause a lot of damage.

I've known many people who do drugs, and sometimes they just have a lot of problems. Can't think right, etc. Now whether they were like that and so made the bad decision to get addicted, or whether their addiction made them that way. I don't know.

Legalization and "illegalization" has to do with taking away freedom from people. The freedom issue is way more important than the drug issue.

Weed should be legal because it is not dangerous. Marijuana consumption does not cause any significant damage to the health. Obviously, the drug cartels and the pharma mafias have demonized the substance, by indulging in a negative propaganda campaign against it. But weed is getting legal in many of the nations around the world, and this trend will continue into the future.

In Africa, the weed here is very powerful, there are instances where people who smoke weed for a long period of time get brain damage in one way or another, Maybe they over smoke here but weed is very bad for the human mind and its effects in the long time is very bad.

Marijuana is illegal in our country, maybe because some users are abuse to use it, im hoping that one day it will be legal because it has the potential to cure the sick.

Marijuana is illegal in our country, maybe because some users are abuse to use it, im hoping that one day it will be legal because it has the potential to cure the sick.

I don't believe in the "medicinal" properties of marijuana. But at the same time, it has the potential to act as a cheap and affordable painkiller, especially for people suffering from diseases such as cancer. That is why the pharma cartels remain opposed to the legalization of weed.

The truth is, that problems with drugs and addiction start from the society we live in.

If children are told the truth about how drugs affects you, why people do it. What are the risks. And encourage them to ask these questions from parents. Hell, I'd be happy to share my knowledge of say smoking marijuana to my child - when appropriate age is reached - when I'll have a kid someday..  and encourage him to try it out himself and come up with his own conclusions too.

This approach is is way more healtier than desperateõy trying to keep him away from "bad" things.

It is not just alcohol and tobacco. Dangerous drugs, which are having severe side effects (such as Oxycodone) are allowed to be used as prescription medication. And a major part of these drugs end up in the hands of drug addicts.

If children are told the truth about how drugs affects you, why people do it. What are the risks. And encourage them to ask these questions from parents. You can have fun without using any kind of drug. There are a lot of ways to have fun actually and using recreational drugs just to have more fun is not one of it.
