Your opinion on recreational drug use

I'm fine with recreational use of soft drugs (marijuana) and even some hallucinogens like psilocybin.   I'm not ok with recreational use of drugs like heroin, meth, and crack.      I'm 31 and have seen enough junkies, methheads, and crackhead to know how dangerous those are.

As you can see in the subject, what is your opinion on a recreational use of drugs? So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What is your opinion on that and is it the same at your place?

I think that there really cant be helped on the emergence of recreational drug use at is is proven time and time again that it can benefit people on their pain and other sickness. I just think that there need to be a regulation to control its use but as log as we are restricting people would stoll clamor for it.

some people in the world thinking that some types of drugs are for just for recreation but it’s not true because every type of drugs are dangerous because there  is no type of drugs which have a benefits for which people used that. But every type of drugs are dangerous and should not be used by anyone.

Recreational is fine (although I myself haven't consumed any so far), it becomes a problem when the use has an escapist background. Also, drugs are only addictive if their use offers a 'better' reality, MDMA and LSD for example are very situational drugs therefore rarely addictive (besides, everything can become an addiction).
Weed and other opiates should be seen as a temporary stimulant/relief, it becomes a problem when their use becomes highly regular. One should find the source of their stress instead of trying to ignore it.

There are different  type of drugs available in the market. But if any ne think that this type of drug is good for health its totally wrong or some people think that some type of drugs are best for fun then its totally wrong . if anyone want to a fun then there is a lot of another way for enjoyment. To used drugs for enjoyment is not good for their future health.

in my opinion using drugs when recreation is not justifiable, where if we are recreating and using drugs will have a negative impact and make the recreational essential value becomes negative.
it is better for us to have simple and useful recreation such as mountaineering or camping in the wild while doing social activities in the community.

Even the likes of Marijuana when it used on correctly and on a prescribed basis is a very drug and helps to deal with anxiety,depression, mood swings and a whole lot of their things but the problem is that people always tend to abuse these drugs and it's harmful for the human body.For drugs like Heroin and Cocaine, nothing good came's from them.

Most of the drugs are addictive, so I don't think that we need to make a distinction based on the addictiveness. If that should be the criteria, then could you please enlighten me why substances such as alcohol and tobacco are legal? These substances are highly addictive. Even coffee and tea are addictive, but they are still being used by billions around the world.

I think we should not make light names for drugs. DRUGS IS DRUGS and there is nothing fancy about it. Whether some will say "recreational" still that is using drugs. I don't think people should be investing their time and effort in it. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. God made us for His glory and this is act is not glorifying to God.

I am not sure about whether consuming soft drugs is dangerous to the health or not. Some people have told me that it improves the creativity. Many of the well known authors and script-writers are known to consume marijuana and they claim that it helps them in writing the stories. I have never consumed soft drugs, so I am not sure about it.

I don't give a shit what others put into their bodies as long they're not harming people. The most dangerous thing about drug use is how staggeringly boring they make you. I've no interest in being around druggists any more.

This is actually the best statement on this issue so far People rarely realize that even though they are less bored when they are high at the same time they become more boring for others
