Sooo... if fork is at block 22,000, doesn't it mean the bug is still there until the block 22,000? So coins could be still minted and dumped? Do I miss something?

still something wrong with the rich list on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xzc/#!rich
there's no zcoin blockchain showing the real number of coins circulated. I think the devs should pay some collected coins to find some other coders to do this.

i think you need to go do some reading about what libzerocoin actually is and does.
your comments literally make you look retarded.

also:
http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/02/19/zerocoin-updates-about-a-bug-in-the-implementation-of-zerocoin/

well, smart guy. is there any correct blockchain explorer without showing the wrong richlist? i find non.
someone has had found something wrong with the rich list last december and reported to the devs, the devs said---something wrong's with the blockchain explorer...
well, it's ok, the chainz's doing this zcoin explorer for help and for free, there's nothing to blame. and i just didn't get it when the devs found something went wrong with chainz explorer, why didn't they just build one official explorer themselves. until now, after we just paid half a million dollars for them, still there's nothing.
possiblly the devs are toooooooo busy, so spending some coins collected to recuit some new coders could be a much more feasible plan.

hmm... that pool wasn't updating their wallet to the safe version, and it was told on slack to the miners to move away from the pool

again.
once coins have been minted to anonymous; you arent able to simply 'check up on them via richlist'.

it's not worth mining now. you should buy zcoin it's very cheap now. I had to stop all miners for zcoin 3 days ago.

It seems zcoin is decreasing more deeply. There is no buy support and the volume is still down more.
Maybe the big whales have left this coin because of error typing in the code. Is there any new plan for this coin, DEV?

ya thats what i think too, tho it would not surprise me to have people pulling out, people need a coin they can trust :/
guess thats anon coins tho, kinda opposite transparency haha.
Zcoin will survive, as a for profit project, the market will support itself IMO. MTP will bring people back hoping for great mining maybe ;p

im pretty much just lurking till MTP, mine, dump till then

i think u've just mistaken zcoin for zcash.  and you cannot explain why the devs finally found something wrong with the incorrect circulating volume.  the devs gave explanation to this comic entry level error as following link and they said:
https://zcoin.io/language/en/zcoins-zerocoin-bug-explained-in-detail/
"
How we discovered the bug
Slightly before midnight on February 16th GMT+0, during a check to analyze how widely used Zerocoin transactions were in Zcoin, we discovered that the total Zerocoin spend amounts did not tally with the number of mint transactions and the spend transactions far exceeded the number of mint transactions.
Upon further investigation, the dev team discovered that at block 11002, the serial number for the spend transaction had been reused which meant that someone was exploiting a single proof to generate multiple spends. If the code was working correctly, the duplicate serial numbers should have been rejected.
"

in which they said clearly the hacker forging issue can be found by some method, even though possibly the free chainz explorer could be wrong, there do be some method to check it out. but unfortunately the devs did nothing.

I see the price is deeply down but that is good chance to buy more cheap zcoins. I expect it will decrease at 0.0006btc then I will spend all my bitcoins to catch it up immediately.

Our dev Aizensou is working on our own offcial block explorer which will also have in built checks to detect such abuses much quicker.

Chainz were paid to host our block explorer but of course deep customization is not expected. @fairglu has been pretty responsive and awesome.

As for price pressure, I don't think we should comment too much on price as that is not really our job and markets are fickle though the immediate aftermath really wasn't all that bad.

We have a lot of good urgent work ahead of us and the first priority being putting in checks in place and code review so that something like this doesn't happen again. We do of course have other features and plans lined up but let's focus on one thing a time rather than stretching our resources too thinly which was one of the reasons the bug occurred in the first place. Would be foolish to repeat that mistake again as this is a long term project.
