As for price pressure, I don't think we should comment too much on price as that is not really our job and markets are fickle though the immediate aftermath really wasn't all that bad.

We have a lot of good urgent work ahead of us and the first priority being putting in checks in place and code review so that something like this doesn't happen again. We do of course have other features and plans lined up but let's focus on one thing a time rather than stretching our resources too thinly which was one of the reasons the bug occurred in the first place. Would be foolish to repeat that mistake again as this is a long term project.

This sounds really good. You still have the right attitude, and it seems that you reflected on the true issues here. What is most important for a project to succeed are the right developers, so that's what will determine the price in the future. Making a mistake once is not a problem. The problem is if you don't learn from it, and as it seems to me, you do. I'm confident in the success of this project.

Have found a couple days ago a block by solo mining but how do i send the coins to another wallet by command?

The latest version of the wallet synchronized fine for me after waiting a couple days. Are you using the latest version, 0.8.7.7? Did you upgrade from an old version?

You might need to clear the old block and chainstate folders if you started the sync process with an old version.

Yes, close the wallet then delete the contents of the block folder under folder named zcoin, then start the wallet again and resync from the start. I don't know where that is located on MAC OS unfortunately.

I'm not exactly sure what the process is for this wallet. I'd make a backup of the whole zcoin directory then try the following.

Try deleting everything inside the block folder with the Zcoin wallet closed, then open the wallet again. Be sure to never delete your wallet.dat in the directory above this folder. In fact, since you're there, make a backup of wallet.dat.

Basically you can delete everything except wallet.dat if you want to try a full resync.

If you get stuck on block 600+ start the zcoind with -reindex

./zcoind -reindex and it will move past block 600

It should sync past that.

Make sure you're using latest release.

wallet not working properly, dev seems to ignore community messages, stolen coins, .... hell, that´s too much problems to attract any new investors. I will keep watching the evolution of the coin. but for any investment, i´m out...
here, the devs first need to prove that they deserve our trust for making new investments

Is that v.0.8.7.7? I have it running from my 10.12.3 as well with no issues. Is it always stuck at a particular block?

Try running it from terminal with ./zcoin-qt -reindex and see if it works.

We are the first open source Zerocoin implementation. Watch the video to see how it differs from other previous anonymity methods.

The roadmap is in a state of flux especially with the recent issues but we are on track for MTP PoW algorithm which was our main promise. We are also exploring Znodes but are evaluating the best way to do this and whether we can offload Zerocoin computations on it. All of it can be read in our blog.

We're pretty early in our dev having been released in late September.

In your PM you mentioned that you were on v0.8.7.2 which is not the latest version (ours is v0.8.7.7). If you went to the wrong site zcoin.tech that's the version you will get. zcoin.io is the correct site along with the correct Slack address. Thought I had replied to your PM already.
