This was an awesome presentation, a must watch for newcomers in the ARK!

This guy is the best Ark presenter I have seen.
His presentation is clear, accurate and to the point. Plus he have the charisma and confident to go with, good job Justin Renken!

Easy there... There's no need to use the 'in your face!' font size, thank you very much Wink

I was actually reading his post like shouting in my mind, thinking...

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

At the bottom, on the opening page of this thread you can choose code according to your profile to wear, there are available @RivAngE. They are still usable without need of any modification in the text. Ark is coming back and in the space buzz about newly approved version can be heard and felt the heat created by it. This is going to make the difference absolutely, in matter of time.

Are you facing issue with Coinbene? Someone has raised this issue at reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/9r7p35/coinbene_not_honoring_deal_with_projects_for/

Come across a lot of projects get ill treated before and after being listed on Coinbene. Project owners please beware when dealing with Coinbene. Here are some projects that are being maltreated.

•   Ark which is facing difficulty in listing after bring paid and Coinbene giving many excuses from integration issues to language barrier.

•   Ducatus gave 1mil coin for promotional activity as agreed on contract and Coinbene only used 26,000 coins and kept the rest. Coinbene refused to return the unspent coin to the project owner when being requested.

•   EZ Token (EZT) suddenly was delisted without notice

Coinbene seems to be based in Singapore but I don’t think they even have an office there and only operated out in China.

There’s a lot of negative and scandalous news about their founder and CEO Zhang Yang Bing in Chinese crypto community and media sites.

Coinbene even froze user accounts and confiscated their deposits because leak the CEO’s failed sexual advancement screen captures on social media.

There are also many news regarding the CONI coin scandals

I think it's "after being paid". After pay Coinbene listing fee they didn't list them"

There's a lot of weird bad news about Coinbene in the Chinese media. Not sure if you can read them

This coinbense pretty much a no one so I'm sure if even Ark getting listed there no one would trade. If someone is dumb enough to move their Ark with an unknown exchange they deserve to lost their coins, but thanks for the head up.

Thanks for the update BoldNinja.
About the v2 testing and the dynamic fees, do you have an progress update to share? It'd be good to know how things are going.

I'm sure you've read the recent blog post about the latest in V2 testing, but thought I'd drop in and say feel free to join ARK's Slack and join the #devnet channel and join in with the testing. There's plenty of friendly active users there who will help assist you getting started if it's of interest to you.  Grin

I wonder why did Cryptopia disable the withdraw (and probably the deposits too) of ARK.
Cryptopia's message reads "Reason: 25/10/18 - In maintenance briefly for infrastructure upgrades, thank you for your patience during this time!" but I don't see any update from the team regarding a set date for the update to Core v2, if it takes a month will Cryptopia hold our funds for a whole month?

It was said that more accurate date for launch of Ark V2 will be given in next update. It is quite possible they already have started to work with exchanges in order to make a seamless upgrade but this is our guess seeing the situation your shared above. Now it will be clear in coming hours someone from team and who is following on various channels will drop in something if there was any discussion in this regard.

It has been a bit over a month since our last technical progress update on Core v2. We have made a ton of progress towards preparing for MainNet and after recent events, refining our new timeline for release.

Delegate Arkland is increasing the share to 100% for the next weeks of November.
Full announcement here,
https://forum.ark.io/post/4321

I believe we should support this guy, they were running events for ARK all the time but now because of being absent for some time after an accident (based on him/her) Arkland fell out of 51 and is now 52. Just a few votes can get Arkland back in and the increased daily reward will be very beneficiary for the voters.

Arkland also reimburses the vote cost.

Yes, please help Arkland!!!
I have delegated my ARKs now about 10 month to Arkland and I never had problems with him. He paid nearly every day and I earned much more as before from others.
I stay by him and hope he will be very soon back at the 51. place.
Good luck, Arkland, and thanks for all!!!

This is it, the final countdown has begun! Do you want to help us in the final stage of testing before we move Core V2 to MainNet? Do you like the idea of getting more ARK for being a part of something that is for the greater good of the Ecosystem? Then this final testing stage is for you!

Good luck, Arkland, and thanks for all!!!

I remember there was one time he had missed some blocks because of an issue of his system, but he paid from his share the missed ARKs of his voters! At the very least, he's a very honest person.

Right now he has 560 voters on 52th place and in the 51th place is a Private Delegate named hippopotamus with just 9 voters!! Obviously that's themselves or friends.
I don't like private delegates who just vote themselves and get into the 51 places, it slowly destroys the decentralisation of the system. I hope we can support Arkland, "dethrone" the private delegate and get some profit form Arkland's 100% share, all at the same time! Wink

People and whale(s) already lost confident with arkland which he would need to gains them back. Chance, I think arkland  is all about money, he lost his forging delegate position he then coming back to Ark. He would need to prove to Ark community before he is getting any serious votes back. It can be done but the problem do he have patience and serious about helping Ark community.
